Prepare yourself for the interview: Predict what kind of questions you'll be asked and practice to answer smartly. It's good if you can practice in front of the mirror. So you can check your personality and body language. For the written test, it test your writing and opinion. So you should practice to write and summary your idea smoothly and reasonably. Good luck for the test.

  • What types of questions might they ask me at a job interview in the mall?

Couple questions that might ask. Do you have any experience in retail? Do you have reliable transportation to make it to work for scheduled shifts? What past jobs part time or full time have you done in the past? Do you shop at this store or other like minded retail stores in the mall? What hours would you be available to work through the week and on the weekends? Are you available to work on or around holidays? What to wear? Well you should always dress for the job you are applying for. Look at what the floor employees wear there, and then dress a step or two above them in a more conservative and professional manner. Not saying go buy a suit or anything. Just dress a little more conservative. Cover more up basically.

Usually you can just present the resume. The purpose of the cover letter is to introduce yourself when mailing the resume. That will be taken care of in the actual interview.
