Breakout’s Reading List of Business & Finance Books

With each passing day, the number of business and finance books available to the investing public continues to grow. Trying to find the best among them, or the ones that apply to your particular situation, is no easy task. Just one quick trip to the neighborhood book store can easily overwhelm even the most patient among us.

So we're here to help with our recommended reading list. While the list here doesn't cover every title in the universe of trading and investing books, we have sought to find a few of the essentials, those writers whose work belongs in the collection of everyone who's serious about investing or on the way to becoming so. Here, you'll find classics like Graham and Dodd, ruminations on the random walk, memories of trading days long past, triumphs, tragedies, mistakes, lessons learned and many other topics.

The truth is that investing and managing money require lifelong learning. With that being the case, think of the list below as your starting point if you're new to the market, or if you're experienced, a place to find out about titles you might have missed along the way.

One more thing -- if you have a book or books you believe are must-reads for your fellow investors, send us a note. We want this list to be as helpful as possible, to as many of our readers as we can reach. Our library might never be complete, but we'll always strive to keep improving it.
