Boeing 'space taxi' contract; Eli Lilly and AstraZeneca team up; Majesco shares slide

Here is a look at some of the stocks the Yahoo Finance team will be watching for you today.

Yahoo (YHOO) shares remain very much in focus. Our parent company which holds an almost 23% stake in Alibaba was slightly higher before the bell after the Chinese e-commerce company raised the range of its initial public offering to $66 -$68 a share . That’s up from its initial price range of $60-$66 a piece. Alibaba is expected to make its market debut on the New York Stock Exchange on Friday.

We are also watching shares of Boeing (BA) this morning after the Wall Street Journal reported that the aerospace giant is likely to win NASA's multi-billion-dollar "space taxi" contract.  A space taxi ferries astronauts to and from orbit. Boeing is competing against Elon Musk's Space-X and Sierra Nevada for the funding, although a joint award is also possible

Majesco Entertainment (COOL) shares are tanking in early trading. The video game maker posted a bigger-than-expected loss. Revenue missed the mark, falling over 27% from a year earlier . Majesco also disclosed that it hired a financial advisor to investigate strategic alternatives for the company.

Eli Lilly (LLY) in the spotlight this morning. The U.S. drug maker is teaming up with its British rival AstraZeneca (AZN) to co-develop its experimental Alzheimer's drug. Under the agreement, Eli Lilly will pay AstraZeneca up to $500 million dollars  depending on the drug's progress which is set to enter late-stage development.
