Reaction: Facebook Mystery Announcement

“Come and see what we’re building” read the somewhat cryptic invitation Facebook (FB) sent for Tuesday’s product launch. The social networking giant unveiled what it referred to as 'graph search,' referring to it as the 'third pillar' in addition to news feed and timeline and differentiating it from web search.

The world -- certainly the blogosphere and on social networks – tuned in to see if Facebook’s announcement lived up to the considerable hype.

Shares were recently down 1.7% as investors decided what to make of it.
