Chained volume index of gross value added. The monthly Index of Production (IoP) provides a timely indicator of growth in the output of production industries, at constant prices. The IoP shares exactly the same industry coverage as the corresponding quarterly series within Gross Domestic Product (GDP). The monthly IoP is currently published for total production and three broad industry categories:Energy,Manufacturing , Mining and quarrying.
