The survey data are used to tabulate: amount of orders received (separately for investors and construction type); completed work amount in a month; amount of unfinished construction at the end of the month; and remaining orders received in terms of the number of months. 1. These statistics cover more than 20% of the total amount of orders received in construction. However, the Statistics may show somewhat different trends in order-receiving for the construction business as a whole. For example, there may be a difference when there is an extreme increase in large-scale construction which is a niche for major construction companies. For this reason, when a more accurate understanding of the construction business as a whole is needed, it is necessary to look at other related statistics such as the Statistics on Public Construction Starts and the Statistics on Private Sector Civil Engineering Work Starts. 2. The figures are collected at the time when the construction business signs a contract with the investor for construction work, which is the same as for the Statistics on Public Construction Starts and the Statistics on Private Sector
