As of May 31, 1994 the interest rate scale is replaced by an interest rate corridor with a ceiling (the Lending rate), and a floor (the Deposit rate). At the same time, the Marginal rate is replaced by the Repo rate as the Riksbank's primary interest policy instrument. The data before May 31, 1994 refers to the Marginal rate.
