Yahoo Finance will livestream the 2017 Starbucks Shareholders Meeting from Seattle, WA tomorrow. The event begins at 1pm ET 3/22 and is expected to run approximately three hours. This will be CEO Howard Schultz's final meeting in that capacity and will serve as a sort of baton passing to the new CEO, Kevin Johnson who officially takes over on April 3.
Unlike the stereotype of workers squeezing the company for a few more dollars, they loved working at Starbucks and wanted it to live up to its values.
Plank, who controls 65% of the struggling retailer’s voting shares, will become its fourth CEO in four years.
History has shown that Starbucks doesn't typically fall much further than it already has.
