In 2008 I worked for prop trading firm. Bought into Techfaith late 2008. Traded around and out of it throughout 2009 making enough to buy a new home. I tried to trade it a few times unsuccessfully/successfully in small doses after 2009, but this time seems too good to pass up. Management are incredibly shareholder unfriendly, but run business above board and more than likely do not want shares below 1.00 per share by March 8th deadline. Drop my reasons to being back after I load up.

36 million for the 1.2 mill commercial square feet available and the 1.2 mill commercial sq feet coming to market.
Some hedge fund will come in here or an individual and buy 2-3 million shares and make quick money.

3 floors have been entered into contract to be sold for 25.8 million vs 11.8 million in carrying value. 11.8 million is in escrow and could hit balance sheet in q3 or q4 along the balance of 14 million.
1 floor is also under contract for 6.6 million with 3.2 million carry value.
Q4 could have 40 million in cash and real estate of 320 million in carrying value. These floors had a 100% increase above carrying value.
Baba property still remains crown jewel.

Maybe one of these items lands sooner than later.
Waiting for a big announcement that will surprise everyone.
This stock will be triple overnight if the Beijing property is taken out.

The big guys will eventually bring investors into CNTF getting price up to 4.00 per share
Real estate is probably 450 million vs 40 mill mkt cap.
BABA is booming and more growth will be needed at its HQs - this is almost a certain. They're following Google Facebook Amazon and others which means buying land and facilities will be sooner than later. They could buy CNTF's Hangzhou campus for 250-400 mill over the next 1-3 yrs. UTSI sold its campus at 140 mill in 2010. It's 2016 coming....
Cntf Hangzhou campus was initiated near 2009 and has 3/7 buildings completed. Baba is certainly helping the area and will only make this property increase with or without acquiring them.
Btw, a lot more assets under the hood here.
