Your right and i'm reminded of the old saw:::Even a broken clock is right twice per day. LOL
What I do not understand is why those who hate LNG so much per their posts spend so much time here as the stock has appreciated so much, heck from the teens not so long ago. Why spend the time here to only frustrate themselves especially as the stock keeps going up and will as the exporting date nears.
Sadly I disagree with you Jangle. And i'm heavily in oil and gas as well, no gold, silver or mining. You are right that commodities, especially oil/gas will recover and Alcoa is surprisingly doing well.
But you are dead wrong on uranium IMHO. Japan may restart some but questionable. Germany is moving away from uranium as is USA under Obama. while he preaches positives of uranium, his commission members are adopting policies which are causing reacters to shut down like in Calif and elsewhere and no new permits will be issued. Flour has an interesting concept for a small reactor but does not seem to be going anywhere. The only people developing reactors are Russa and France and not sure where their uranium comes from.
You are right on the out of favor sectors which is why i'm adding bfig time to my energy stocks. Just bout a lot of SDRL at a steal in my opihnion and adding to LNG and very interested in CHK right now.
Good luck jangle in both your real and our challenge portfolios
That he is a fool. Heck he even said total was an American company. He has also said all the companies with LNG exporting will simply walk away from their contracts despite the fact that none of them hagve walked away from their importing contracts.
Talk about proving themselves to be a fool. Anyone who believes this idiots claim of gains should buy some of my swampland. LOL
About as smart as the poster who relied on April data to say no one else has exporting permits LOL But my focus is not on their issue, of who has permits, my focus is on who has actually started construction as the lead time is about 3 years. And despite the poster who erroneously repeated over and over that Dominion has started construction, only our LNG has that distinction. Which is why I've added at some of these ridiculoiusly low prices as we are within a year of beginning exporting.
Thanks for the update. Appreciate it
Not as detailed as last time but understand, being down over 100000 is depressing whoever is ahead. Sadly, my own portfolio has also been hit but not nearly by this much. Energy and 3ders are hurting me.
I think that retail stocks will make gains in the short term based on more disposable cash for consumers based on lower gas prices I will key on starbucks a lot of gift cards will be purchased.
You have made many predictions about LNG falling to $50/share. On 10/28 you wrote, "I will be back... by next Friday this stock will be at $50". Your predictions have not been correct yet. You maybe correct some day if you say it enough. Probably, when LNG gets to over $150/share and has a 3 for 1 split, you will be technically correct. Before this split, please short the stock with as much money you are willing to loose.
That sir is ancient news. As I said before, Chambers(sp) has got all its permits and farpoint and one others have either gotten or close. If you have contra documentation please provide it and don't quote from and April rememberance. But you are right about LNG. But others have the permit but none have started construction but LNG.
LNG is the only licensed company to export LNG. There are many in the process, but LNG has already been approved. As far as I remember from April.
I don't agree with you. Check shale producers--they got $300 B junk bond issued on future.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
So true, but I have little time for such ignorance. If you are going to invest/trade, and risk money, you should do at least some DD and be aware of your investment. All these post about future competition are so inane as are the drivel about contracts being broken. The best argument againsat those idiots, including Garyi whom I argued with on this point, is that Total and ohers have honored their import contracts with LNG even when financially disadvantaged. In fact one of the perks Total is getting for investing Is Sabine is getting oiu of its import contract, LOL.
I've added more during this downturn as it was a marvelous opportunity to buy more, at a cheap price with my gains.
I'm amazed that no one else is constructing an export triminal yt which is going to give LNG at least 3 years alone.
Now to tangential points. I'm looking at the LNG carrier as they will be needed to transport. Alreadyi own glog and looking at GLNG.
Another point, Asis and Europe will need a lot more. And I like the concepts GLNG and Hoeng are developing, converting LNG old carriers to FSLR ships which will convert LNG to gas and the newer GoLNG or whatever which GLNG iis developing which will convert gas to LNG and save a lot of time and money Great concepts for Countries which habe lower needs.
But spare me the ignorance. Posters who keep commeting on new competition. Heck that won't even apply to Corpus which has trains 1, 2 and part of 3 already sold. THe only question is how much will LNG make on is residual spot gas.
Just start adding or start a position now or long should dollar cost. Buy all dips as there will be many. You will be awarded this 2015 year.jmo
Sentiment: Strong Buy
no ignorance here pdb3838 just people who haven't done any research on lng and got taken to the cleaners buy the shorts spreading lies on this board. if only they would read the news about the future of LNG instead of these unethical shorts with their lies.
camman276 if you are really interested in a position in LNG do some indepth reaserch on this stock and I think you will find the shorts have been telling some tall lies on this board. this company has a bright future. you just got to decide if you want to be a part of it
canman276 are you kidding you listen to that nut msch for reliable info. and what part of guaranteed contracts signed do you not get. this means thatr cheniere gets the money weather the buyers take the gas or not
