Yeah those folks who got, er, "caught" at $700 in 2012 were sure left holding the bag eh? Despite the fact that the net performance over their period of investment is still probably fairly good right about now if they'd held.
And that was a fairly NASTY correction. I think even if we had another it wouldn't take as long this time to make up the difference. iOS/OSX adoption is growing. People realize that it simply works better than the other alternatives, and as their tolerance for computer "hassle" drops, Apple's sales increase.
Now look how far they have to penetrate other areas yet, digital homes (my next house will have their HomeKit), home servers, content delivery, cloud storage business, and of course hardware maker . . . that last being in the thing that creates the big bucks, and pays for ALL the rest of it to get created before it starts making money itself (On many of these services Apple is happy with a breakeven situation).
