GTAT did fairly well as a company until it's 'leadership' decided to bet the farm on a partnership with one company. I sold just before it tanked, but still took a hit.
Quality stocks are a safer approach, but even GTAT was in that category at one point. Better to also diversify, including into funds and non-equities holdings. Don't bet the farm on anything controlled by Wall St. GL
My financial advisor was pro GTAT and pumping it, but he changed his mind before I bought. I feel sorry for those who did. I got burnt on a gold stock that was being pumped on CNBC. Got burnt on a biotech and sold it, but lucky me, the dang thing rebounded after I sold it. Basically, I know how it tastes to have to eat one of these turds. Stick with quality. I hope you guys catch a break though and make a mint.
These folks never disclosed any sapphire for sale that apple did not buy. This is ridiculous allowing forward looking statements to protect the insiders who became millionaires......
and use the drop down window for 6 months, click Current Board. You will find that I warned then. A poster using the alias ibmwatcher was pumping this then.
