The ships are NOT losing money. Do you even know what the BDI is or where to view it? You are sounding very stupid.
if that doesn't bring in some nice volume it could get ugly ? However i hope for the best prepare for the worst
Then April 11 to October 22 it was below the 1250 mark anyone care to give there two cents as to why the market doesn't think the stock is worth 6.41 or lower $ or is this the bargain I think it is (and no shorts please)
right……... the whole industry is going down because of your expert analysis of "more ships lose money " but it sounds better when you say it with a neanderthal like voice "more ships more lose money
Dream on - more ships at losing rates only means more losses - thats reality not if this and if that.
Do I have to put in the dictionary definition of the word bleak ? Well it aint good it means another negative quarter eps for VLCCF.
I listen to a Webinar at (Capital Link Shipping on 10/14/2014) concerning the dry bulk shipping and they mentioned China still imports a lot even if their economy has slow a little bit. China central bank just cut interest rates to help their economy. The analysts stated you will have earning being up and down however they believe the shipping industry is coming out of this downturn which as of 10/14/2014 was 60% below the average of the last 20 years.
share count will increase simultaneous with delivery of Goldens ships doubling the count and also earning. so apples to apples 30cents and when share increase EPS 60- 75cent per q. We will be looking at $2-3.per share annually AFTER to increase of shares ... as for China their "weak" is pretty dame strong
Shares of Knightsbridge Shipping took a beating Friday after posting a third-quarter loss that was overshadowed by a dividend cut.
Rates have improved this quarter compared to the last quarter. Panic selling resulted from the earning annoucement. Capital Link Shipping had a discussion on 10/14/2014 with shipping analysst who agreed that 2015 and 2016 should be better for the dry bulk shipping industry.
it makes a good argument that the share price should get to $10,I heard a while back on this message board when the stock was $13 and someone was complaining that if the Co. was setting the price at $10 why should anyone buy the stock at $13? well now its the opposite
correct me if I'm wrong but lowering the dividend should tell us there concerned with the development of there amalgamation and the savings in dividend will be given back in the value of the stock weather in my hand or theres or at least thats my theory
where do you think stock price will go next I did as you suggested and bought in at $6.70 still have a little more that i held on to ,I did buy a little early when the stock started the curve up on friday so i wasn't sure of myself and now have a little left over and thank you for the tip it saved me a bundle
I think when you see amalgamation in any industry it means a more stable fee for service …however I'm not a marine specialist however are we not seeing that already everyone keeps talking about low rates but in reality rates have all be very profitable for the 4th quarter and perhaps this is what management new was coming however i am a long term investor and eventually this industry will settle and the prices will rise and buying at 6-7-8 bucks is perhaps at the bottom or closet it , how often does anyone get to buy in at the bottom of the market ? After the 2008 stock market crash it was $14.00 it was its all time low for 1 day at $5.50 December 2012 and then ran up to $16 eventually the market will stabilize as it always has and you will double your money when it does good luck to all and thank you "Blue" for giving me the patience to buy in after the er report to average down on my investment I would like to know when will it go up again but none of us have that crystal ball.
