    funny stuff

  • Got rid of mine when sprint bought my shares never liked sprint service got worse.

  • My rant about how horrible CLEARWIRE's service is because I am following through on my threat to the customer service person and the company as a whole. As a business owner I used CLEARWIRE to process credit transactions through an Ethernet connection. They have had so many outages that it cost me over $180 one day in total failed credit card transactions. Also, the service gets interrupted 2 days prior to your bill being due because they want to provide a reminder that your payment is coming and interrupt the service to give you a subtle nudge to get the payment in early. Because of this interruption I lost 2 more customers wanting to use a credit card. I would set up automatic payments with CLEARWIRE to avoid the disruption but my business credit card has been hacked 3 times and I have narrowed it down that its CLEARWIRE's lax security that has allowed the card number to be stolen. Not one of the many vendors I use my business credit card for have I ever had an issue with. I asked CLEARWIRE for a month's credit ($54.99) only, since I have lost over $200 worth of business this month, not counting the customers I most likely have lost forever in future revenue!!! I was informed that they could credit me $5 for my trouble. Long story short..........think twice if you are about to choose CLEARWIRE as your internet service provider and are expecting good service, good coverage, and secure payment methods, because you will receive none! Especially if you run a business! So CLEARWIRE made a simple choice; "WE CHOOSE $54.99 over thousands of dollars lost of a repeat business customer and the headache of dealing with a disgruntled customer telling hundreds of people about how terrible our service is!" Remember CLEARWIRE, Happy customers tell 3 people, pissed off customers tell 3,000. I will do everything I can to spread the word about CLEARWIRE because the experience has been about as horrendous as you can get!!! Cheers all!

    The $54 headache!
