Agree with the seasonal part. Also the powers that be have gotten much better
at manipulation over the last few years. " Stronger Dollar " ? I can't see it. That's
kind of like the government saying there is no inflation . . . . . just saying.
Oil will bounce back. It is down for at least 2 reasons. 1. Stronger dollar 2. Refineries down for maintenance which happens around this time every year. May be in combination with producing more heating oil and less gasoline. In any case the storage tanks have filled up due to less refinery demand. Generally not much of a problem because at least PSX exports excess so they can keep refineries going full tilt.
It was amazing. Who cares what the share price is when the dividend payout is amazing! Like having a part time job and only paying 15% taxes on the wages
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Thanks for the thought. I was thinking the market is doing some consolidating here ? The dividend will give me back 2.92 of this pull back so I've been holding, just playing with profits so not losing anything out of pocket but it still feels much better when the tide is rising !
200 dma is around $76.50. I suspect we touvh that. But it should create a floor. Whole market is sorta poopy. I think some money is coming out of stocks like COP in anticipation of AliBaba offering.
I think if that IPO goes well, a lot of $$$ will come back to the COPs of the world.
I'm not doing much until that IPO is out of the way.
50% breakout rally means that APRU could soon shed its triple-zero tag and join the elite companies in its sector trading above $1

Sentiment: Strong Buy
In a report published Tuesday, Bank of America analyst Doug Leggate upgraded the rating on ConocoPhillips (NYSE: COP) from Underperform to Neutral, and raised the price target from $84.00 to $90.00.
we'll see about $78-$80 a barrel soon. I'll start adding a small position around $74 a share and keep buying more if it still weakens.
big volume dump! Chasers above 85 clutching to their dividend under pillow, better than security blanket!
Stop losses always get taken out, lol, I have been in that position a million times, then it will bounce back up by the close. Gotta buy a small enough position that you can handle the daily gyration in stock price with the belief that eventually you will be ahead. As for the bottom today, I have no idea but I did buy some just now at a little under 79. it may go lower but I will just add more if it does. Short term trading is really hard these days. Good luck.
