TSRI looks ready to pop. Shorts are trying to bring it down but having trouble pushing the stock lower. A massive short squeeze could be in the cards.
WOW smalls .. down over 3% yesterday, down 1% today .. oh boy, that's what sure shows VOD is a "outperforming stock" huh .....
Sentiment: Strong Sell
What I like about foreign stocks, is they hold up better when the Investment Banking Cartel is trashing the US market based on their latest Frankenstein like: "Greek Debt Crisis" or "rising interest rates" or "housing collapse" or "slow down in China" or "Investment Banking Cartel says sell everything and go into bonds" . . .
BAC-Merrill Lynched. Gone short or wanting some cheaper shares. Maybe trying to clean up a market maker position which is short of shares is possible as well.
Anyone with a grain of DD knows VOD is becoming well positioned to dominate the European mobile ISP market. Yes, that is what the future is with low margin add ons of talk, text and TV bundling. The race is on for mobile bandwidth capable of lag free streaming TV. That will require about 25 Mbps. VOD is positioning well for multinational coverages with great coverage under LTE and as well as some initial roll out of LTE-A that will take mobile past the bandwidth benchmark for lag free mobile video requirements. The noise about BT hitting VOD with the EE merger is little more than noise. The coverage outside of U.K. is pitiful and 3G with the competition debt laden.
Bank of America to be exact while JP Morgan reiterated its outperform today. The London listed still have a gap to close at around 220p I believe.

Value investors are finding it difficult to pick stocks in the U.S. as low interest rates around the world continue to fuel equity markets, especially since U.S. multinationals are getting hit quite hard by their foreign currency exposure due to the greenback’s strength.
Sissons also noted that European telecom providers are finally going to get a “first world” fibre network, which will help stimulate profit and revenue growth for the first time in effectively a decade. That positions Vodafone Group PLC ADR (VOD/Nasdaq) quite well since it is one of the world’s biggest telecom companies. “It has a track record of making, integrating and selling operations, and there is growth upside, which is fairly rare for a telecom,” he said.
Agreed Smalls, Worm would find great difficulty on iii, he wouldn’t last very long, he would soon be kicked off. Also once you have posted a comment on iii there is no going back, no deleting of comments or history, he would have nowhere to hide. IMHO iii are far in advance of Yahoo when it comes to mb‘s.
Nige, when you go to post a response on iii
"NOTE: Each user is entitled to one consensus vote per stock per 24 hour period. Any user abusing this tool will have their membership revoked. "
Located directly below the rate it "Strong BUY, Weak Buy..." et al buttons. The worm wouldn't get to vote so much because the wouldn't give him the load of IDs to vote with let alone the multiple votes in one day with one ID.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Worm Breeze claims “Nige belongs to 2 dozen message boards”
He then claims “Mature adults don't post on a half dozen message boards like you do”
I see the fool is confused, so I will give the fool the answer. I’m a member on 5 message boards. I have the same name Nige Co, so there is no intention to deceive anyone, (do you know what I mean fool.) I usually check on them all once a day, reason being just in case I have missed any news good or bad I want to know about it. When you have as much invested has me it pays to be on the ball, I am an investor NOT a gambler. SO any news out there I want to know about it.
Worm Breeze claims “All I know is that I can snap my fingers and make you waste your day”
LOL, All I can say is I’m not the one on a cruise holiday, SO who is wasting who’s time? I only come on this mb for the laugh at your expense. You keep making it interesting. It will get very interesting when OR if the DTV deal goes ahead. Then the fun will begin, when the brown stuff really hit’s the fan. I truly hope you get covered in it. LOL.
Paulson is an interesting exit to note however. Shiller isn't the only fellow stating Europe is the place to park money for a good return. Several big investment houses have been hitting that same pulpit for the past year. The question is how to hedge against currency movements of EU land. What you could make in EU equity markets could be trumped if the Fed decides to raise rates while the EU is running QE. The wicked downward currency trade has wreaked havoc for the ADR's. The USD move the second half of 2014 generally bruised the world over. Coincidence oil is priced in USD the world over and the strong dollar would greatly impact a major oil production reliant Putin who is causing unrest? I think not.
The best reason to own VOD is it will have the hands down best LTE network in twelve months across the EU while they are also buying and building the major infrastructure for 4.5G/5G network design. No other international carrier will be able to touch the breadth and quality coverage provided by VOD when all the puzzle pieces fall in place (not to mention the budding mobile banking & remittance biz). The fragmented competition is debt strapped and will struggle to make like investments. The stock should be in the $40s but a lot of that has to do with currency trade being out of whack (IMO) as UK economy is doing well and the QE drifting across the channel should push BOE to bump rates as soon or sooner than the Fed. £/$ should be a minimum in the mid 1.60s today and run well past 1.70 print on continued economic strengthening in the U.K.
Still interested to see London shares trade gap from several months ago get closed.
