While robbsbeach sold at 69.08! Guess there was just TOO MUCH money to be made. He prefers to let the rest of us get rich. I can't tell if he's #$%$ or just extremely stupid.
Evidently, unlike some of us, Barry knows how to make money on stocks.

The last of Walgreens Executives are jumping off this Hindenburg pumped up air ship..
Rumors of Walgreens selling off stores and creating a franchise system are starting to circulate, with franchised stores adding a gas pump and a Carwash to boost revenues at the corner of #$%$ & Happy.
This Schmuck keeps holding and make no money with the upturn on Walgreens, The concept of buying and selling eluded this dumdass if there is any ownership of Walgreens shares in his/hers posts.
Wallstreet is a Market place where stocks are bought and sold just like the lettuce in the supermarket, hold it to long and it goes bad and is worth less.
When Walgreens CEO Wasson is gone I'm sure cc43578 will be rewired out of a PR job...
Sentiment: Strong Sell
Big buying frenzy looks set to send CGRW past the .50 a share mark and perhaps even take the stock past $2.50 before Christmas
It is Wasson not Watson. makes no grammatical sense whatsoever. doesn't is not capitalized unless it begins a sentence. share "holers" is clearly a typo. I correctly spelled the Yahoo message board handle of robbsbeach. The real ignorance of your post though was to suggest that Wasson's leaving the company will send the stock price way up. Any affect of the change of CEO will be temporary and minimal. Walgreens will thrive if the board of directors and new CEO can successfully lead Walgreens to international prominence.
While it is clearly a purchase of Boots by Walgreens I get your point. The purchase of Boots has made S. Pessina the largest stockholder of WAG by far. No institution comes close to his post-purchase holdings. He is about to become acting CEO and maybe permanent CEO. I'm sure he wields tremendous influence with the BOD. His track record leads me to believe he's the right man to lead Walgreen's international expansion and perhaps to the point of being the prominent global player in wholesale/retail of pharmaceuticals. My personal hope is that the future Walgreens/Boots will destroy the pharmaceutical manufacturers stranglehold on Washington and drug pricing in the USA. In my opinion pharmaceutical manufacturers have bullied and disrespected the citizens of this country for 40 years. Drastic changes in the marketing of pharmaceuticals is way overdue. I don't suggest that this is the focus of Walgreens international expansion, but that it is a possible positive outcome.
