PS, PE, stock price are all reflective of the ROI in product mix...
So what are the % growth metric's in the product category mix ???
Is Walgreens growing to grow sin sales as CVS is walking away from Cig's... Gee that is there growth plan?
muhammadumairjafri you are being reported to Yahoo and the SEC.gov for stock pumping!!!
Hope you have a lot of money...you will need it
Since there is only 16 days left in Walgreens FY 2014, you are probably right that we won't see the $70's again in that time frame. You do realize that FY 2016 begins in just over 12 months. The company's eps estimate for 2016 is $4.25-$4.60. They just raised the dividend by 7%. I think a share price of $80 in 12 months is in the bag. That represents a return of about 30% over the next year, not counting the dividends. I fully expect you to ignore the facts and stay on the sideline.
beach, you feel at a disadvantage? We finally have something we agree on. I have felt for some time that you operate at a disadvantage. You have a fairly extensive knowledge base, but absolutely no idea how to exploit it. Your preoccupation with Walgreens debt growth with the acquisition is typical. Managing debt has not been forgotten in the board room.
Sorry folks Wallstreet analysts have opened up the next Chapter in Walgreens selling price and it is not in the 70's for 2014.. perhaps measuring execution on this next chapter.. needs to be shared with the retail investors and not just the Large hedge funds and Institutional Investors.
So, if any of you folks have an idea what metric's are to increase, how about sharing them
Walgreens now has had( good and plenty) LOL.. of time to plead with its largest investors to not dump this stock..
As private meetings were set-up on the east and west coast for Walgreens largest stock holders with its executive managers before and after the pricing crash, no meeting details are available.
The retail investors just like the retail customers is of a secondary concern to this Corporations executives, we know the next chapter plan is 1 Billion in cuts but this can't be measured unless you were at these meetings...so good luck in measuring these goals and setting a price...
Well good luck!!
Fine... however WAG will go to the Bond/Credit market before Tax inversions changes are written into the tax code.. And its credit rating maybe down graded from Moody's BBB which could mean millions more spent in interest payments and less returns for stockholders.
European GDP numbers are declining, and AB is a European Company that book 65%+ of its revenues from non Rx spend, so forward revenue growth numbers in Europe are not looking good.
Inversions will be mote issue in the future since Republicans will push for tax reform before the next presidential election. Congress can't sit on it for much longer. Even Japan is in the process of reducing corporate taxes further. Some companies may even come back to U.S. soil if taxes change.
Yea right.. that is Why Walgreens stock price went to 56.00 a share.
4 Billion was baked into Walgreens M&A plans, with Boots synergy projections if not met, which they didn't meet the CAGR.
And if you believe other wise...you really have not done Due Diligence reading SEC.Reports and the Scotland Joint venture that was set up for a inversion... that will be dissolved.
But, I can't expect much from a stock pumper except the SEC has regulations and fines against it..
Should you receive money from Walgreens directly or indirectly.
You continue your disinformation campaign. Walgreens was pushed by shareholders, and they made a good faith evaluation of the possibility of inversion. You continue to spread lies. If Americans understood the truth about inversion, few would oppose it.
Last quarter was good in terms of constructions and building businesses. Civil, Mechanical, Electrical designs on top of everything. New semester is going to start for student and universities buying their software. This stock is going up big time. I scooped in just now. Spreading the message to my fellow brothers and sisters buying/selling WAG.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
I can't believe so many short sellers on this board. I think most of the best shorters must have covered already. These people are now here are bunch of losers. As long as Obama care is there Walgreens profit rise year after year and I woul evn think $100 is possible by 2016.
The technicals are showing next resistance at just under 65 with no technicals in the way to stop it. Then on to just under 67. After that we will see if wag slows down.
