what could be a good channel to learn, has become a tool for shorts, longs, traders, and flash boys, to make even more money than they should.
yes, they help people like buffet when they say he bought shares , when the truth is, any purchase they talk about was made months ago, and he may have already sold them, or their announcement might help push the stock up, so anyone buying when they belatedly mention it, is left holding the bag.
cnbc has become an enabler, or maybe an accomplice.

Comcast supposedly is providing new boxes. The one I have constantly drops Future programs that I have saved to watch. They look like they are there in the que, then the next day I discover nothing was recorded.
A couple of months ago I called and they said that come July/August new boxes would be available for my area...BUT we have to pay to get one and PAY again to have one installed and the old one picked up. Now I have to pay if I want the upgrade?????!!!
I have had all 3 products for 8 years. It's their product why do they keep milking us?
Shorting isn't a bad strategy as I anticipate the govt to roll over and allow the merger, which should cause a brief dip. I would cover at the point because Comcast has never botched a merger and I see this thing going to the moon by early 2015, $75 per share at least.

After 23 years with comcast I sent notification that I was moving , they refused to reply, I sent a letter to the Ceo to express my concerns about what was going on, not a work from anyone. Last week they were trying to drum up so more customers they came to my door and I let him waste his time doing his pathetic comcast speech, then I proceeded to tell him to look around at the other houses, I asked what did he see, it was DISH, And i told him that I has stress the importance of dropping his firm and going with another provider. PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Cable and Internet giant Comcast is apologizing after a tech-savvy California customer posted eight minutes of telephone conversation online in which he tried repeatedly to get a customer service representative to disconnect his service.
The customer, Ryan Block, succeeds in getting the unidentified Comcast rep to agree to disconnect his service, but only after the rep repeatedly asks Block for a reason. At one point, Block says, "I can guarantee right now that you are doing an incredibly good job of helping your company be worse."
Philadelphia-based Comcast said Tuesday the employee's behavior is unacceptable and the company is "embarrassed" by it. Comcast said it would contact Block to apologize.
Block, who says he is a vice president for AOL, said he expects to talk to Comcast personnel.
