That's the $69,000 question. I'm sure we'll find out, eventually.
Wasn't ALTI given the real estate for its China manufacturing facility? I guess that has to figure into the numbers.
I do have a tip for you guys.
Looks like HERB (P/E =1) is about to merge with Gansu Yasheng Industrial (P/E = 64), listed in Shanghai. They both have the same parent company (Gansu Yasheng Salt Group).
It's in the 10-K somewhere. Look for "Company Merger & Acquisitions in 2015" on page 15.
The merger has actually been approved it seems. The parent company has a controlling stake in both companies, so no vote is required.
The stock is up from 0.55 to 0.90 these past few weeks. That's because me and a few friends have been buying the stock. Nobody else. If it weren't for us, the stock would still be dead in the water.
No guarantees. But it's going to be awesome if HERB shareholders get a listing in Shanghai through this merger. It's one of those special cases, and it's the only one I have left. So we better make it count.
Anything is possible here. 20 bucks per share, 40 bucks. Let's wait and see.
GL. Maybe you can make some money back.
As always, do your own DD.
I have to give you credit though USAR you called this one from the very beginning as a scam that it was..Even as I was pouring vast amounts of money into the new wonder battery company that never was..
It was a valuable lesson learned though. When your foolish enough to buy into these scam companies you nearly always lose all of your money.
I saw over 15K shares dwnidle down to just 600 shares with their countless reverse split after reverse split before I finally took my loss on this scam.
Well it's almost like old times with Dutch and Jctuttle showing up here. Where the heck is REVO the diehard when we need him. Hope all of you are doing well.
Last post I can find of my challenge on this board was week 55 from Feb 16, 2013
I have entered week 156 which makes it my 3 year anniversary.
Happy to report I'm up 150% since I started my challenge 3 years ago
That said, there were many losers on my initial list (ALTI, CBEH, SCEI, DEER, CSGH) and only one real winner (SIAF) which also happened to be my number 1.
So in that respect, I have failed.
All profits have been made in the past 8 months.
I suppose I have learned to avoid stepping on landmines. Like ALTI.
I hope you are all doing well.
The Foothill Transit Authority in southern California has been using them for almost 5-years now with good results.
Google: "All-Electric Line 291"
"MIDLAND, Mich., March 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- XALT Energy, LLC ("XALT"), a leading developer and manufacturer of lithium-ion batteries, today announced it has signed a global exclusive agreement with Hybrid Kinetic Group "HK Group" of China for the supply of its Lithium Titanate (LTO) batteries from its manufacturing facilities in Midland for all-electric buses in China. Production is expected to begin during the 3rd quarter of 2015. The multi-year contract, valued at more than $1.0 billion, will create 300 new high-tech and manufacturing jobs in Midland this year. Hiring is underway with 80 positions expected to be filled in April."
"The electric buses will be fully powered by XALT batteries. Each bus will have 68-100 KWh high performance rapid charging batteries, which can be recharged in less than 10 minutes. These electric buses will be leased to municipal transit operators throughout China."
and so many others I have forgot. What a rip off of a company. Made a lot of insiders rich off of suckers money though IMO. Got out years ago and amazed they are still listed.
Col I was really missing you and the banter we shared over the years on this board. I wanted to make sure you were still pumping blood. At our age stuff happens. I sure hope you are doing well, my best for the future. Please give my thanks to the good man that forwarded my request to you.
