They report on July 17. I think they'll blow away the numbers again and trade at or above their 52 week high. That would 2 quarters in a row of revenue and EPS growth. For a high dividend paying stock like PM investors will flock to it. It's also a great defensive play in a market that is currently directionless.
Greece has an economy the size of Massachusetts; do we really believe that this is or was an issue?
Of course not. MM were just stealing your shares; btw, I was (small dollar amounts) a buyer as the market tanked......LOL
It's common knowledge they all have buyback plans. What is not known is precisely when the company is executing on it. You said 'today' like it was a fact, when it was really just a guess.
The market will do what it does but PM isn't going anywhere and I'll be clipping quarterly coupons all the way up to $100. They blew away the numbers last quarter and will do the same this quarter. PM is a stock to put in your retirement and own for the long haul. Right now is a great point to add.
"Does PMI have a share repurchase program?"
"Yes. We announced our current $18 billion, three-year share repurchase program in August 2012. PMI spent 11.9 billion to repurchase the 135.3 million shares through September 30, 2014."
Investor FAQs---PM investor relations.
---PM, MO and RAI/LO are all buying back shares today.---
You state this as if it is a fact. What data do you have that proves it to be the case?
Bought more TY for my Roth IRA, paid 21.22 for a 4.37% position.
I love closed end funds trading at deep discounts to NAV with low fees and high returns.
Current price-81.65 + .86...............
My year end price is 86.68 plus you'll be paid two more dividends of 1.02/share. Business in Europe should continue to improve.
In other news- can't buy LO and sell it high any more but you can own a little RAI/LO and sell call options against your position for added income.
Lol axpcrop boy u really r a rich snake jerk boy!!! In all your years of posting here u have never once called the right dividend increase u yoyo cop and yep u r wrong again!!!!!!.....lol
the sundance kid
Don't believe increase will be large this time around. Maybe 1.03 for annual $4.12. I will certainly be happy with more but not disappointed with the 1.03. MO and PMI certainly been good to me.
