Apparently you have a reading problem, among other things. If you were paying attention you would know that I have been a shareholder for years. How many shares do you own BTW. I'm guessing about 100.
I do NOT bash this company, I am critical of it. There is a difference for thinking people. If you think we are "bashing" the company to drive the prices down (which I definitely do not want), how come your glowing reports don't drive it up. Your so-called positive report is about 5 hours old and the price is down another 3%.
Been here for years bashing this promising micro-bio day in day out. They lost even the pretense of resembling authentic investors long ago. Folks this is what the dark-side of wallstreet looks like. Paid shills paid to contrive and paid to contort.
They need to create doubt and insecurity so their posts always avoid bringing up Palatin's positive developments.
They avoid discussing the tens of millions in partnership investment from Palatin's euro partner.
They avoid discussing the very successful and very large phase II for Brem as treatment for FSD an unmet medical need.
They avoid discussing Baker Bros., premiere biotech investment fund, very large investment stake in PTN recently
Biotechs take years to develop and have significant risks but this biotech is positioned well and has survived a considerable amount of risk and even though greatly derisked some risk remains of course. Our basher room clowns would like us to believe their "total" negative spin on the company and somehow ignore the tens of millions of serious investment dollars curiously pouring into Palatin from serious biotech professionals.
They would have us take the word of gas bag posters that are likely unqualified to remove the garbage of Palatin's PHDs, partners, and qualified investors yet post here anonymously 24/7 without credentials.
These tools have faithfully followed the boiler room playbook for years. They operate in packs; they attack authentic investors; they snub any positive news immediately. Yet what does the basher playbook spell out when bashers are outed and known? Answer: keep bashing (after all what else are they qualified for except maybe gov't assistance).
Hi Yanni, I like to think that marketcorrect reconsidered his post and found it to be inappropriate and not who he wants to be so he used the "remove" feature, taking the whole thread with it.
"QVT would not exercise their warrants unless they were a seller.I think they are in for the long haul."
That is plausible because QVT has had other opportunities to take some profit but have not done it. Okay, good talk :-)
I mean really- he tries to get tough, gets clobbered by yours truly - as usual- and then mysteriously the thread disappears ? Now that's manipulation. Why doesn't Yahoo exercise that discretion on threads littered with false claims?
QVT would not exercise their warrants unless they were a seller.I think they are in for the long haul.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
"QVT was an unlikely candidate to exercise their warrants with the penny strike price."
Why not? They paid 49 cents for the warrants in late 2012, as I recall.. At about $1.10, they only had to pay a penny per share to realize a 120% gain about 2.5 years later.
QVT was an unlikely candidate to exercise their warrants with the penny strike price. I suspect all of the warrants with the $1 strike price were exercised.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
I see QVT owned 8.49% of the outstanding shares as of 3/31/15. As I recall they also own about 65 million warrants at a penny but are not allowed to own more than 10% of the outstanding shares.
So if they had exercised a lot of warrants they would have had to sell some of their shares to stay under 10% ownership. But as an insider they would have had to file a form (Form 144?) within a few days.
I assume no such form has been filed or someone would have noted it so probably QVT did not exercise too many warrants with the recent price spike.
So insecure, so small, and so threatened. And exactly who's mean? I just love pointing out how dull-witted you are, you've only yourself to blame by chronically lying and throwing tantrums when you are caught. . And how about those facts on the stock manipulation, BCPs, and timelines? Seeing how insecure you are, no doubt you are in desperate need for a product to help please the women, or the sheep, in your life. Baaaaah
Can't deny how good these guys are after seeing today's play, that thing just ran out of the gate and stayed hot throughout the session.
I think the point is that "PT-141" as made available in Canada or on the 'net elsewhere may have nothing to do with the actual drug Palatin has developed and is testing. If it worked for you and your wife, that's great but also potentially meaningless in this context - plus there is the placebo effect to consider - which is why professionally managed blinded trials are called for in any case.
Welcome to the board and sorry if you got slap-o-impertinence-i-fied, actually I appreciate your input and see your sentiments are in the right place, but I also hope you'll give Yanni a break. Consider your statement that "Brem has worked on every person I've known who has taken it, male and female" and it's true for you, but then consider what I've pointed out about what potentially this "Brem" really was - e.g. who knows what - and even if it was close to the real thing there is that darn placebo effect.
On a different topic, I regard the recent run-up as anticipation of FDA approval for Fib. following the lead of the earlier recommendation.
Insiders have not dumped. They recently received stock grants. In some cases, the company sold enough new stock to pay the income taxes.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
