Through his Saudi-listed Kingdom Holding Co., Alwaleed owns 7% of the Class B voting shares of News Corp., making him the second largest individual shareholder after the Murdoch family, which owns 39.7% of the Class B shares. This is from a 7/20/2011 Forbes article, so the numbers may no longer be accurate.

"So Al Gore starts a liberal cable network, which turns into a complete and utter flop, then sells it to a Middle East potentate in a deal that will bring him an estimated $70 million Al Jazeera, owned by said emir's government, is trying to buy its way into the American television market by purchasing Current TV for a half billion dollars.... The only thing stranger would be if Gore had sold Current to Glenn Beck -- oh wait, Beck did try to buy it and was told no way within 15 minutes"

If the network was a complete and utter flop, and had no value, why did Glenn Beck offer lots of money for it, grapefruit brain?

Hmmm, you may have something there. Fox has missed a lot of the news I've been reading over the years.

There is something highly unusual -- OK, just plain weird -- about a former vice president of the United States doing this deal with the emir of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani.

    ***

Was there "something plain weird" about Saudi oil prince Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal being the second-largest investor in Fox News' corporate owner for YEARS?

I think we can include Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity in the list of Muslim Brotherhood /al-Qaeda sympathizers.

Boko Haram beheading video shows ties to ISIS, say experts
Nigerian Islamic terrorist organization Boko Haram has taken a page out of the ISIS playbook, releasing a new video Monday of two prisoner beheadings so similar to clips posted by the Middle East jihadist group that experts now believe the terror groups are working together.

The 6-minute video, titled “Harvest of Spies,” translated into English, French and Arabic, was posted Monday on Twitter by Boko Haram's media arm and initially reported by Terrorism Research & Analysis Consortium (TRAC), which monitors terrorist groups online. It shows a farmer confessing under duress to spying for the police, and shows a second man, then cuts to footage of both, decapitated with their heads on their chests. The video was tweeted out by ISIS-affiliated Twitter accounts.

Yes, obama really has islamist terrorist jihadists al Qaeda/ISIS on the run.

So Al Gore starts a liberal cable network, which turns into a complete and utter flop, then sells it to a Middle East potentate in a deal that will bring him an estimated $70 million.

There is something highly unusual -- OK, just plain weird -- about a former vice president of the United States doing this deal with the emir of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani.

Al Jazeera, owned by said emir's government, is trying to buy its way into the American television market by purchasing Current TV for a half billion dollars. The only thing stranger would be if Gore had sold Current to Glenn Beck -- oh wait, Beck did try to buy it and was told no way within 15 minutes.

So the sale was in part about ideology, which opens the door to examining why Gore believes Al Jazeera gives "voice to those who are not typically heard" and speaks "truth to power."

Bill O'Reilly, on Fox News, calls the network "anti-American." Fox pundit #$%$ Morris says Gore has sold to a fount of "anti-Israel propaganda." Such labels are rooted in the network's role during the height of the war on terror, when it aired smuggled videos of Osama bin Laden and was denounced by Bush administration officials.

I think we can include your namesake, al.gore, to the list of muslim brotherhood members/sympathizers
. "Why are hillary, obama, and al gore such strong supporters of the muslim brotherhood?"

Don't be any bigger of a dumbazz than you are already al.babygorexxx. Morsi's wife and son were lashing out at obama and hillary for what they felt was their betrayal by obama and hillary for not speaking out loudly in Morsi's defense once Egypt ousted him.

The wife of former Egyptian president Muhammad Morsi is the latest Muslim Brotherhood “insider” to threaten to expose the special relationship between Morsi and the Obama administration—a relationship the latter insists never existed.Nagla Mahmoud, Morsi’s wife, is reportedly angry at some statements recently made by Hillary Clinton, including that Morsi was “naïve” and “unfit for Egypt’s presidency,” as reported by Arabic media. In the words of El-Mogaz News, Morsi’s wife “is threatening to expose the special relationship between her husband and Hillary Clinton, after the latter attacked the ousted [president], calling him a simpleton who was unfit for the presidency. Sources close to Nagla confirmed that she has threatened to publish the letters exchanged between Morsi and Hillary.”The report continues by saying that Nagla accuses Hillary of denouncing her former close ally, the Brotherhood’s Morsi, in an effort to foster better relations with his successor, Egypt’s current president, Sisi—even though, as Nagla laments, “he [Morsi] was faithful to the American administration.”Earlier, the son of Khairat al-Shatter—another top ranking Brotherhood member who was arrested during the June 2013 revolution that ousted Morsi—made similar assertions, threatening to expose documents that would “undermine his [U.S. president Obama’s] political future and land him in prison.”Despite all these similar threats from Brotherhood insiders, and despite all the other evidence, the Obama administration insists that its relationship with the Muslim Brotherhood was no more special than its relationships to other Egyptian parties.

Morsi’s wife threatens to publish letters from Hillary Clinton, exposing “special relationship” between Muslim Brotherhood and Obama Administration
More revelations about the Obama administration’s treasonous collaboration with the terror organization, the Muslim Brotherhood. Obama’s axis of evil. For five years I have documented Obama’s covert and later overt support of the terror group. Many MB operatives sit in key positions in the Obama administration. Obama worked early in his presidency to bring the Brotherhood to power, and he did just that. There is more about this in my book, The Post American Presidency: The Obama Administration’s war on America. But this? This is high treason. And why all the secrecy if Obama believed that this was good for America? What is the point of all the hiding of his jihad collaborations? Because it’s treason and lethal for America, and he knows it. So the snake has to hide and Hillary, his Secretary of Sloth, has been pimping for jihad since she lip-locked with Suha Arafat.Morsi’s wife threatens to publish letters from Hillary Clinton, exposing “special relationship” between Muslim Brotherhood and Obama Administration

Does obama still want to continue to arm and train so called moderate islamic jihadist fighters, oops Syrian Rebel Freedom Fighters, just so they can join ISIS? Apparently so, because that's about all that's being accomplished. Impeach obama and try him and hillary for treason for arming, adding and abetting radical islam jihadists.

You spout off about the greatness of Progressiveness yet don't know the underlining philosophical pinning? You really are Rodent stupid.

  • Time is running out for the GOP??? They're only just getting started pilo. Keep in mind if they don't rid themselves of McConnell and Boehner, then you are right, time has run out.

  • Since they have no fear of being defeated in an election, the lunatics are voted in by mis-informed delusional, and racist voters. Chaos is the only realistic endgame of the far-right plan of violently opposing any bill that has a chance of passing the Senate and being signed by the president.

If Boehner continues to coddles the extremists of his caucus, they may be able to force a shutdown that would result in interruption of critical programs and in hundreds of thousands of workers going without pay.

But Republicans would take public blame—as they should—and the only path out of a shutdown is the same as the path they're refusing now to avoid a shutdown: passing a clean bill.

If Boehner doesn't keep coddling the extremists, they'll hold it against him and his already weak speakership will be weakened still further.
Sometimes it feels like Republicans do more damage to themselves than Democrats ever could. Unfortunately, they damage the country along the way.

    Sentiment: Strong Sell
