MGM CEO made $13M last year I read, all time high pay day for him
No CEO in any company is worth that kind of money unless everyone is making money.
the guy gets $7m a yr and the stock hasn't done anything for years. when are people going to learn that these insane salary's with nothing to show for it have got to stop. give him (all of them) a million a yr and incentivize them to perform.
Then why are you in the stock? I'm up good money and am happy with my return. I also made a very healthy profit on LVS years ago when it was on the verge of bankruptcy. I made money on MPEL, although I gave back way too much during it's multi-year slide, but still up. I think I'll stick with my M
MGM has underperformed for the last decade, every single year except last year.
LVS, WYNN have crushed MGM. Don't forget to factor in the dividends.
YTD all casinos are doing better then MGM.
Once you factor in the yield on LVS and WYNN over the past years of payments they smoked MGM. Even the new reit ipo is crushing MGM.
YTD - MGM is down 8% and we get no dividend last year it closed up 7% and no dividends were paid. The stock might be off the 08/09 lows but make no mistake this stock hasn't come close to WYNN, LVS, BYD, IGT, PENN, GLPI, PNK, etc
BJK - Casino ETF is up 3% YTD vs MGM down 8%
The SPY is near record highs and up for the year.
MGM needs a new CEO not because the current one is good or bad but this market is saying change is needed for this stock to run.
Under $20 now tomorrow and back to the teens we go.
If you don't like current management, you are free to bail. I like the trend and the actual analysts' price targets.
Casino socks are NOT at all-time highs, or haven't you noticed? MGM is doing well in its peer group. If you want to chase bigger returns, feel free to sell. Murren isn't going anywhere.
markets are at all time highs or haven't you noticed? See where MGM is? How many Dividends have you been paid?
Im ready for a change up and I would think just about every shareholder would be.
Good luck with that. I'll be voting FOR Murren. "i'm affraid" you are misguided.
ALL i see mgm down no pop in price. murren and his team need to step down. they have created no value in mgm common. jonathon litt was right all along. i dought mgm will break 25$ in 2016. MGM DEAD MONEY MOVE ON. or buy mgp at least you will earn 7%
Moody's upgrade's CityCenter's CFR to B1
Global Credit Research - 25 Apr 2016
New York, April 25, 2016 -- Moody's Investors Service, ("Moody's") today upgraded CityCenter Holdings LLC's (CityCenter) Corporate Family Rating to B1 and its Probability of Default Rating to B1-PD. Moody's also upgraded the company's senior secured bank term loan and revolving credit facility to B1.
"The upgrade reflects debt reduction and CityCenter's rising EBITDA as operating conditions on the Las Vegas Strip continue to improve evidenced by higher visitation, rising room rates, and limited supply growth", said Moody's analyst, Peggy Holloway. As a result, debt/EBITDA of 4.3 times at year-end 2015 will decline to approximately 3.7 times (below our 4.5 times level for an upgrade) and EBITDA coverage of interest will rise to 5.6 times by year-end 2016. Our estimates are adjusted for the sale of the company's retail mall, The Shops at Crystals. Given our stable outlook for operating conditions in Las Vegas, we expect CityCenter can at least sustain debt/EBITDA and EBITDA/interest around 4.0 times and 5.6 times, respectively.
Moody's also assigned a Speculative Grade Liquidity rating of SGL-1 reflecting CityCenter's strong liquidity profile. CityCenter's cash flow exceeds its interest expense, mandatory debt amortization, partner distributions, and capital spending needs. The company also has an undrawn $75 million revolver which is not expected to be used.

Jun 1, 2016 MGM Resorts International Annual Shareholders Meeting - 5:00PM EDT
(which would be 2:00pm Pacific Time.)
However, no location given, and it wants you to sign in to Google Calendar with one's email account, which I assume is g-mail or whatever account one registers with to be registered with Google. Anyone here have a Google account?
Thanks zinger, can't figure these guys out, it's almost May and no annual letting us know when the meeting will be. I have my Berkshire annual and their meeting date for 2017 is in there. I guess Berkshire is pretty sure nothing earth shattering will happen before next year but MGM can't get info out for us early enough to make decent airline reservations. We don't all have private jets to get us there, laugh. Thanks again.
