my other comments are not in this thread although they seem to be in your head while you read it. see if you can separate them out while you think about this.
57% better claimed battery life and simplified, fast operation are advisories. so is the fact that there is a small core of users in comparison with the two largest o.s.es. but you didn't mention those in your reply. care to say why? (-;
fugly is an aesthetic judgement. there can be no argument in matters of taste ; you may like it.
while it is not a functional characteristic it may still affect the adoption of the platform as well as the choice of handset by an individual.
some people also deliberately make their bicycles (and their phones) look fugly. the theory is that it will keep casual thieves from stealing them. perhaps it will also keep someone from stealing your phone. they will look at it, hand it back to you and say "you forgot this." think of it as a feature. perhaps you will want a phone that is more likely to be purloined. that is also a choice. (-;
have some coffee and a good breakfast. it will help you make a useful decision.
"Is it possible you were yelling arm the rebels who were fighting in Syria? Guess you now know that was ISIS"
No and wrong.
ISIS was one (then small) faction that has grown with international fighters due to the vacuum your President left with his failure on SOFA. There is number of quite diverse groups in Syria fighting Assad. I did not call for arming any unless we could be relatively sure we did no harm but had we been able to arm the correct faction ISIS would not exist, or would be far less viable at a minimum.
"They not only give blood they give their lives since they make up most of our armed forces."
Liberals (today's definition) make up most of the armed forces?
They vote overwhelmingly conservative, so your assertions begs the question, "can liberals be retrained by the harsh reality of discipline and need?"
W9 will be one unified O/S that runs everything and will spell the death of Linux, Google, and Apple!
Enjoy the Show, FOOL.
You are a disgrace to Texas. I'm not impressed by you at all. I own oil leases in West Texas, retail in South Texas and East Texas, timber, real estate, etc. My ancestor fought with Travis at the Alamo. But the difference between us is that I don't hop YMBs and make "sheet" up.
You made an absolutely ludicrous assertion that the "average" American has $843K "laying around". Look around you knucklehead. Are you living in a cartoon? 5% of the population has household wealth as you describe. That's not "average".
And your data is just statistics that include people's homes which is just someone's "guess" as to value. A home is worth exactly what someone is willing to pay you for it - not what you "think" it's valued at.
I called you "she" because you express yourself like a woman. that's not an insult (unless you feel women are inferior to you) so don't get your panties in a wad.
"Meet me in the parking lot". Lol. Gladly. I've already beaten you on here with one hand tied behind my back. The parking lot shouldn't be any different.
It is not ridiculous.
You are beneath contempt, and Microsoft's extortion racket is beginning to encounter some pushback. It is only the beginning.
"you may have mistaken my description of the differences between the o.s.es as a recommendation rather than an advisory"
You are not being honest here. Read your comment again, along with 99% of your other comments on this board, including the "fugly" remark, and tell me you are not making a recommendation.
They not only give blood they give their lives since they make up most of our armed forces.
Windows 9 is too little too late. It will never fix Microsoft's damaged reputation after Windows 8 and the Vista Fiasco.
Sentiment: Strong Sell
Is it possible you were yelling arm the rebels who were fighting in Syria? Guess you now know that was ISIS
The article suggests that MS is moving Windows to be subscription-based and cloud centric. There are problems with this. The first is the economics of the recurring charges of software rental and the second is issues with the cloud. People that keep a PC for years are likely to pay far more for software than they do today and the cloud makes the device owner too dependent on the quality and reliability of communications and most importantly data security for data in the cloud is highly questionable. And it's not just because of the technology but laws that allow overreaching agencies to help themselves to Microsoft's servers no matter where in the world they are placed.
It is one thing to offer consumers the option to use these things at their own risk, but it's quite another to force consumers into a business relationship that is more costly and less secure than they already have.
"For Bush’s entire 8 years, job growth was just 1.1 million. Yet under Obama, the private sector has had 48 straight months of job growth, with businesses adding 8.7 million jobs."
When a person posts something like that, I know they are either gullible stupid or a liar, you bring a combination to the table when you post non comparable data sets.
I have a cousin who was just like you, quoting nonsense talking point he didn't understand, intended to deceive. He was an uber silly liberal all his life. Then when he was about ready to retire he went to work for two old ladies in a high end western attire boutique in a tourist town ($4000 boots and the like). They retired, he bought them out, now he owns a business, has a few employees and OMG Bush is no longer the worst President since he got a dose of reality. I tease him about it and he is the most candid person ever about his own former ignorance.
Now his stories are spun about fun things he knows not to be true, like the “not for sale” fixtures in his store. He had some old ladies convinced a huge, true antique wicker basket was the one Moses floated down the Nile in, but he could not sell it to them because "how does one put a price on something like that?"

That was my good friend Dontamsetti Devi Trivikram (DDT to Loons), never to be confused with Mercury of any sort. HTH.
"Obama has made things worse"
Hawcreek is Stupidified by FACTS:
1) "For Bush’s entire 8 years, job growth was just 1.1 million. Yet under Obama, the private sector has had 48 straight months of job growth, with businesses adding 8.7 million jobs."
(2) "WASHINGTON (AP) — The risk of losing your job is getting smaller and smaller."
"As the U.S. economy has improved and employers have regained confidence, companies have been steadily shedding fewer workers. Which is why applications for unemployment benefits have dwindled to their lowest level since February 2006 — nearly two years before the Great Recession began — the government said Thursday."
"Employers have added 200,000-plus jobs for five straight months, and the unemployment rate has reached 6.1 percent, the lowest since 2008."
"US job openings hit 13-year high"
"The US economy has added more than 200,000 jobs per month from February through July, the first time since 1997 the economy has generated that many for six months straight."
Jeff V. Merkey, then why did your wife leave you because of "trouble down south" then? It's on the internet.
Imagine how happy I am to see you not. You ought to stand back and read your posts. Is this like when you said Hillary was the original birther? Yeah it is, and I like it, Obama is a great man and President, and notice he is working while your tea party friends vacation. You can't change that, or my vote for him that I am very happy about. You really need to see a therapist about your Obama messages. BTW you will be blaming Obama for every world event on here for the rest of your life, unless you get help.
I play with English spelling. Use "there they're their" in a sentence. in order.
I am a liberal, proud of it because it means I can count. And things in the Permian are labeled with my family name. Proud of that too.
"Sorry dude, but I am a Texan, "
BS, but in your "defence" you do "labour" hard at your lies.
You are not a Texan and you are too lazy to pretend, in short you are a liberal.
Night, night madam.
