We all should want to see more direct cash based insider buys. Management should align themselves with us shareholders. Afterall, the top execs pull in about $750k a year. Show us you guys believe!!
They come up with a new version of the barocycler late last year in response to what customers are telling them, Then you scream about how they aren't doing anything to generate sales and you've been waiting for years. No, you've been waiting a couple of months, since their latest devices have come out. Further, sales are increasing every year. Maybe not as much as we would like, but they ARE increasing. And I always love to be accused of things because I believe in the company.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
mike, all reasonable points you're making. I have nothing personal against Shoemaker either. However, I dont want a CEO telling me reasons the company hasnt moved forward, such as adequate funding. Hes the CEO because its his responsibility to remedy those issues for the company to move forward. Shoemaker hasnt delivered, plain & simple. He may be a nice guys, he may have had some successes in his past but the facts are the facts. After several long years, the performance has been dismal & unacceptable. Someone needs to be held accountable, someone cashing paychecks, someone that's in the position of leadership & authority, setting the plan in motion for PBIO. That someone is Shoemaker.
How many more years until reality sets in with shareholders?
I viewed the presentation and he came across reasonably well. I have nothing against him personally, however there is a constant need for capital which explains the pipe line and equity funding. The overall sales in actual dollar figures is still below $2 million. Shareholders may benefit from a larger well capitalized company with more robust resources to initiate and manufacture sales. The CEO acknowledged that PBIO has only 10 employees. Perhaps its time to consider alternate means to realize the potential of PCT
You're kidding, right? Nobody expected sales overnight, where'd you get this baloney from? We've only been waiting years!! Since PBIos premature launch several years ago and the latest ramp expectation last June 2014. Its been a joke and apologists like you are part of the problem.
Results are present in either sales, share price, financial wherewithall or any other measure. Showmaker is a broken record regurgitating the same garbage and never delivering.
You're very naive or maybe a member of PBIOs team
Here's the thing, you all scream up a storm that he isn't doing anything, and then scream about what he is doing. Our main concern is the stock price, which is something these conferences do. Getting exposure helps move sales, any exposure. Getting sales moving doesn't happen overnight with something completely new. It takes time to gain acceptance. But you all seem to think it can happen overnight and that what the company is doing isn't enough. What would YOU do differently?
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Come on now, get serious.
"Conferences are how you generate sales."
Shoemaker is going to another conference, yes...but its another INVESTOR CONFERENCE, is that how he's gonna generate sales?
Think how many investor conferences this guy attends, excuse me, easier to think of how many investor conferences he hasnt attended, thats a real short list. Spending shareholder $$ for travel, accommodations, meals etc etc and for what??
He hasnt brought in a dime from years and years of attending these conferences.
Shoemaker hasnt attracted much if any awareness for PBIO shares other than people at these conferences are sick of seeing Shoemaker & hearing about PBIO... Its saturated and nobody pays attention. Same old faces show up, shake hands and move on. Nothing comes of it yet Shoemaker keeps throwing money away on it and wastes his time instead od driving sales and finding capital to stay in business.
Back in November, you stated "Let's see how many Barocycler sales they have in the 4th and 1st quarters" in response to someone wondering about the stock price drop after good news. My question to you: How were the first quarter sales? (Hint: The first quarter isn't finished yet. Conferences are how you generate sales.) I know you hate Ric Schumacher, but he is doing a lot of things correct to keep this company independent. He has built successful companies before, he can do so again. The only thing he is lacking now is the true independence of being privately held so he doesn't have to deal with people constantly second guessing him.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
This is another terrible overpriced situation. The president is not worth the $6,000 a WEEK that he pay himself. Operating loses keep piling up. Use your money and buy T or VZ. In the long run, you will be better off.
Sentiment: Strong Sell
You were 100% correct. The race is on. .Which will be greater: Yearly revenues or yearly executive compensation. I'm betting on the latter.
Now youre starting to see the mess Shoemaker has created not knowing what hes doing. As the market soars to new highs, PBIO is setting new lows, still not properly funded, still without any meaningful sales.
Now that the roof is starting to cave in, some are starting to see the light.
Get rid of Shoemaker
Mr. Schumacher should consider the sale of PBIO to a larger well funded company.. The recent share dilution to fund expenses is IMO a stop gap measure. IMO, this will keep the game going as it benefits certain parties. PBIO needs a larger company to take it over so that there is readily available capital to market and produce product. Its time to give up the ghost.
The only reason preferred shares were not increased from 1M to 2M is the fact its easier to screw common shareholders in a BK if necessary. This company has no money- it is bleeding cash and poorly operated. The fact they would launch new products and an extension line without funding properly from the get-go is a testament to the horrendous quality of leadership at the senior management level. My guess is QT4 was poor and without serious help you could be potentially looking at a BK in 2015. What a joke this has turned out to be- Schumacher you need to go
