Well; this is NetSpend's reply to me:

I have reviewed your account and our records show that it is not eligible for the NetSpend Premier upgrade. Please note that not all cards have the same features and functionalities. Eligibility for promotions is dependent on the card that was purchased, and not on your credibility as a customer. I apologize for the inconvenience this may cause you.Thank you for choosing NetSpend.
W(T)F!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been a member / cardholder for over 10 F'n Years; Have Direct Depost of OVER 3K/Month and I'm "NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THE NETSPEND PREMIER UPGRADE" BULLSHHHHEEEETTT!!!!!!
They better change their F'n minds on my eligibility or I'll switch to another business. I've also became a shareholder of TSS recently and I'll be raising hell with NetSpend's Parent Company TSYS very soon!!!
I've been a member of NetSpend for over 10 years and just recently they started this so-called "Premier" card which their open website (before logging in or creating an account) advertises that it is "Easy to Qualify".
From their website (open to the public):
How Do I Qualify For An Upgrade To NetSpend Premier®
Qualifying is easy. Just set up free direct deposit and make a total of $500 in Direct Deposits during one calendar month. Then, we'll automatically upgrade you to a NetSpend Premier card.
Pay lower Fees
With an upgrade to the NetSpend Premier® Prepaid Debit Card, you can make unlimited purchase transactions for just $5 per month. That's a 50% savings over our basic Fee AdvantageTM plan!
Well; I just noticed that I've still been charged their normal fees even though the conditions are met of me having Direct Deposit and that I deposit well over that $500/month (Over 3K per month actually), so I sent them an email the other day asking why I'm still being charged $9.95 instead of their advertised $5/month (above).
