Talking about active discussions - there is a place where I saw messages not only from Yahoo, but other message boards like Google, MotleyFool and others, and Twitter. Let me know if that helps:

greedy pig is an understatement
look at how he increased his stake in GRI to 90%; he used undervalued stock to overpay for grocery stores he held privately; the valuation ratios were absurdly unfair, and he forced it through a board he controlled
i also believe there have been some stories in the past suggesting possible links to organized crime
in my opinion, unethical crook is a more accurate description than greedy pig
i wish attorney general spitzer would look at his record of self dealing
John C,that is. He was quoted in the NY Times today as having overpaid in his settlement with delivery worker backwages. BTW he's got some of the filthiest stores in NYC. He was even on FoxNews' Problem Solvers regarding outdated cheese being sold. Now, this corpulent and miserly individual is contemplating running for mayor LOL!
Katsimindidis sucks potential profit out of this company. . . squanders a good franchise. His Red Apple affiliate gets paid regardless of the performance of the company. . This acquisition is simply more fodder for his voracious behavior. amazed the market is reacting so favorably.
Maybe if he and other isiders could show some confidence in the company by buying some stock at these levels, someone might actually listen
A question. . . is this a potential value play? Does this takeover--even of marginally profitable stores--make GRI something of a "player" in a consolidating industry?
My concern is with ownership? Are they here for pocket lining?
Having 70 stores in the NYC area has to have some value. . . but how much?
They are over-paying for Kings. Not worth 175 mill. Their LI stores are on the verge on being closed. Year over year #'s are terrible (and that's with outrageous price increases throughout their stores). Good luck GRI, you will need it.
