Seems to me $36 is much more more better then mid to high $20's and like any other merger most likely you would see a drop in price shortly after to get your feet back in .
Really what has TMUS got going for themselves other then a CEO talking Trash and Predictions even the markets finds it hard to believe .
You don't think any future bidders is not up to their Hype also ?. One must remember it is the major share holder that is scratching for every penny they can get not what TMUS has done or Predicts what they might do in the future and even that could be short lived without a Ware Chest and that is facts that have been made Public even by their owner and the Markets.
By the way, you seemed pre occupied by the word "pinky"!
who is or what is "Pinky"?
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Speaking for myself I am most supportive of that refusal of the French offer!
Sentiment: Strong Buy
When companies are uncertain about the future of the economies in which they operate, buyers and sellers have a harder time agreeing on price and other terms, bankers say.
"Where there's uncertainty, the buyers rightly have a cautious view of the future, whereas sellers still have rosy prospects,"
In October, France's Iliad SA walked away from a bid for control of T-Mobile US Inc., saying the wireless carrier's parent, Deutsche Telekom AG, wasn't interested in the offer.
My guess to your post is that the area you live in TMUS may have good coverage but don't compare it to the rest of the country the 4 coverage maps that tells a different story through out the U.S.
Here is your own quote " I personally have ATT, my 3 kids and spouse have Tmobile " most families are on the same plan that is unless you are split up and that would make me understand why they left you for better coverage..LOL
Yes easy, TMUS is a joke, run by a bunch of incompetent people full of them selfs.
They sure let thier investors down in 2014. I will never put any trust in TMUS after they blew off the French offer with no counter offer or concern to thier investors.
TMUS is in for a rough year ahead in 2015 IMHO.
1. Larger Debt
2. Terriable Coverage
3. No Buyers are interested in TMUS.
Three strikes TMUS is out.
Wishing you all the best in 2015 easy.
Blowing Hot Air again they claim Sprint is bad off with cutting Prices but the are on Cloud ( with the same cuts? give me a break even the market thinks tMUS is in future trouble in 2015 without a War Chest of Funds or a merger.
Problem being TMUS has not got the network to take on many more customers before they see they are not getting what others offer or will the do any better then Sprint with the price cuts they made to date . the market see it but Pinky left that out of his prediction. I for one do not see him lasting as CEO running TMUS much more in Debt and DT most likely feels the same way. So where is TMUS going to come up with the cash to keep Alive more so then Sprint ?. From a owner that wants out LOL
11:31 EST - 2015 will be a crucial year for T-Mobile (TMUS). The smallest of America's 4 major wireless providers, the Deutsche Telekom (DTE.XE) unit is waiting on what that company might do with its stake, which DTE.XE wants to sell amid an effort to become a dominant player in Europe. Meanwhile, TMUS has to compete against the likes of AT&T (T) and Verizon (VZ) for data-carrying spectrum, an auction which could get expensive, and DTE.XE wants TMUS to fund its operations in general by issuing bonds. Potential bidders for TMUS could be stumped by trying to determine the company's value ahead of the spectrum auction, in which it can't property compete without a war chest. Tough dilemmas for both TMUS and DTE.XE.
One other thing when you watch TV and Verizon flashes the coverage map for all carriers did you Notice the one with the smallest amount of Pink Coverage across the U.S.
Even that should open your eyes
would you not be smarter to be on the same provider? or are you the Dumb one out of the Family.
Let me guess you work for AT&T and you get your Phone Freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
DT cares less about TMUS and them are facts. Unless someone steps up to the table DT will be holding TMUS Debt on their books and for a owner that not only wants out but also out of the country they may have made the wrong call. I think that $40- $50 everyone here is looking for is far fetched not to mention the time frame to get a Sale approved along with New Debt for Spectrum Auction if TMUS won any that is there still is the Billions it will take to get it up and running and another time frame to look at.
So even that I entered TMUS shares in the Mid $20's and sold I have skipped this time around as I see to much risk to lose what I gained and to take a chance like that one needs not be in the Market.
But I will tell you what twice around the Block as gave me the same profits as if they did get $40 so I have no regrets ... Best Wishes For the New Year and may all your Dreams Come True
True their are no bidders outwardly banging on TMUS's door. We don't know what goes on in the back rooms of most corporations. Don't give up on DISH, Carlos Slim, Sprint, or other unknown suitors. The French company came out of the blue. TMUS in an M or A is worth a fortune. AJMO
What part of a Unwanted company don't you understand ?. The Owner Don't want them and Down Grades their future and there is no bidder at the table or even knocking on the Door it has all been rumors except for the French company that was turned away due to DT Greed.
Maybe you need to read the article 2015 Is a Crunch Year for T-Mobile U.S. and my question to you is why anyone would payout all them Billions for a companies Debt when they have other areas to advance in?.
By the way, this is a investing discussion board to deal with just that...TMUS investing and not youruser problems with service problems!!!!
Please stop bashing TMUS stock because might be an options "player"
If you use "options" and short then you made the wrong decision, for now!
The inverse could also be true!
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Especially if they have kids! It's a simple matter of family economics. I personally have ATT, my 3 kids and spouse have Tmobile. I pass my phones on to my kids, tmobile plan cannot be beat. Coverage is fine. I would be very nervous if I were Verizon or ATT, and I don't even think Sprint will make it...
If you did not give consent for paperless have TMUS switch you back to paper billing or even if you did select paperless! You can also install the T-mobile app and always have billing available not to mention phone diagnostics and other information including usage etc.
Personally I am very happy with T-mobile but only use it for emergency communications and pre pay except to stream music or email when connected to home network or hotspots.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
