Lawsuit , stock has been cut in half. Everyone hates biotechs, Hilary will crush all of them if she's president, and Bill did not inhale. I don't know if this is bottom, but I am a long time holder and will keep adding on these dips. They are opening in operations in USA and drug seem like results are good with Europe and Asia as a user. When it turns it will be a day shorts will remember. Stay long don't let them scare you out of your stocks.
the lawsuit will settle for basically nothing....this happens with companies all the time people buy in at super highs it crashes and then people sue saying they were lied to and misinformed. This company is doing great things and the law firm is trying to scare the shares out of longs hands. Hold!!!
Dewey, Cheatum and Howe... The 3 Stooges law firm will be heard from soon. What a bunch of greedy law firms grasping for low hanging fruit...Don't be intimidated into selling your shares. Hang on and be patient.
You said the article is a paid advertisement and it is not. You said there are many reliable sources for pure CBD oil and there are not.
The article gives one little piece of information that I have not seen before. 90% of patients showed "some response". This is welcome news and makes sense to me, though does not matter to the primary endpoints for the phase 3 trial. However, it could matter a great deal when calculating potential peak sales.
uninformed? I pointed out the fact about 'generally available', and you correctly state Realm of Caring, which is the exact point I was making. (there are many others of course)
You now agree with my point about the fact that the link is a media company, it is most certainly not a medical journal publishing new results, it would appear that these results are based on the expanded access program, and are published by a media company.
They are not the results of the double blind placebo controlled clinical trials still under way.
what exactly do you seem to think I am uninformed about?
Look, if you buy CBD oil from anywhere but GW or the Realm of Caring, you MAY BE buying CBD oil - or mint flavored sesame seed oil - or whatever. You have no way of knowing because it is totally unregulated. The FDA tested some of the so-called CBD oils out there and found that most were not what they were advertised to be. Some even contained neurotoxins that cause seizures (a Chinese industrial hemp connection).
Yes, Al media is a media company. So is Gannett. Did you notice all of the articles of interest to local readers? The 96 comments to this article? I know what a promotional piece looks like, and this isn't one.
Frankly, you appear to be uninformed. But you are not alone. Most health care professionals, investors, and even patients are clueless. Buy the "Handbook of Cannabis" - it's a good place to start.
yes but there are lots of CBD products available that are standardized and tested, hence they are available in states / countries where marijuana is still illegal. remember this is a double blind study, and no one knows the results, yet., it is an advert, look up the company. I cant make you see the truth, only point you towards it.
This is not an advertisement. And who would pay for something like this? There isn't anything that could influence the stock price one way or the other. The doctor is cautiously optimistic - like all the others. As for the CBD oil purchased at the local "dispensary", he is right. I live in Colorado and know there are profiteers making claims that they can't back up. You really don't know what's in it - but Epidiolex is always exactly what GW says it is. Results are dependent on many factors, but with Epidiolex, you at least know the medicine is the same each and every time. That was his point.
we did not see a share price jump when the expanded access results were published, what makes you believe we will see a jump now?
look up the source, they are a media company that takes payment for these adverts.
the propaganda is in the way the info is presented as fact, but we dont yet have all the facts, and neither do they. read my point about assuming the same response, we have evidence that that is not the case in the expanded access program.
"UAB is planning to present its findings in March to the American Academy of Neurology, where more than 10,000 neurologists worldwide will be in attendance, Szaflarski said.
"It's a meeting where pretty much all neurologists around the country and around the world go to learn the newest things that are happening in neurology," he said.
Big share price jump leading up to this presentation.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
paid for advert / propaganda, read the words carefully. nothing new in it at all. to say that oils from dispensaries 'generally' are not consistent in formulation is not saying that ALL oils are inconsistent is it?
Clearly there are products available that have been fully tested and standardized, otherwise the word 'generally' would not of been used. Also to say that by using the GW product the doctor can be certain that the result would be consistent has not yet been proven at all.
We will only know for sure when ALL the data has been released, it is still very early days, and yet doctors that should know better are jumping the gun and stating things that have little scientific merit as yet.
As I said, check the source, it is paid for, accept what it says at your peril.
That's what you get for listening to that stupid jew. He only pumps the stocks he owns. AAPL can do no wrong, earnings sucked and he still pumps it. LMAO
why not take responsibility for your own actions, nobody forced you to buy(and I agree about your assessment of him)
A critical detail of the UAB study, Szaflarski said, is the access to quality CBD oil from GW Pharmaceuticals in Great Britain. The company provides a consistent product that allows doctors to trust their findings, Szaflarski said.
