However, I do not see how anyone could patent part of a plant. GWPH has a use patent, but what does that really mean? If the molecule they extracted works, how come any medical company could not extract the molecule? How long could anyone charge 4, 5, 6 figures for something that is free because it is a weed/flowering herb?
My posts seem redundant because no one anywhere has asked and answered the basic question: What does GWPH have that no one else has, no one will ever have (because its patented), and which would allow them to charge enough to justify the market cap?
So, if you are long the stock, perhaps you ought to buy puts.
I have puts... and calls: if GWPH announces positive results, it will sky rocket... for that moment. Eventually, though, no one will pay $9,000 for cannabis.
And note: I HOPE there are positive results. I also believe cannabis is the greatest miracle medicine of all time. But, gee, thanks Nixon!
Your posts intrigue me. Are you an investor or just an anti-marijuana activist? If you are the latter, I am sure your message would be more appropriate for another forum. The individual s that contribute to this forum are interested in financial aspects of a pharmaceutical company that happens to focus on compounds found in a plant that you obviously do not like. Your posts are redundant, unformed and otherwise without merit.
They feel he embodies all the important factors that the world needs....more ability to get high. The only issue is that they don't know if he is a human or animal...i talked to my friend in denver he said it did not matter
buy from their Gardner? Don't you realize that most gardners will be deported under President Drumpf and we will be forced to buy from highly specialized and knowledgeable doctors and pharmacists. Sad to say but reality under Drumpf.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
I'm going to take a much larger position in GWPH. I notice you seem to promote the GWPRF instead. If possible could you please explain your preference. Very much appreciate the help.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
When I was of college age, in my circles, Duke's b-school was referred to as Fuqua. Tuck? Oh that's Dartmouth's b-school; Northwestern's grad school was referred to as Kellogg etc. I'm pretty sure they still are referred this way.
Times change and perhaps as you age, you'll gain some wisdom.
Do I agree/like all of the changes?
But I am able to adapt instead of slowly becoming a curmudgeon.
From Mostly Fools, er Motely Fool:
"Epidiolex may have to compete against CBD products being marketed by marijuana dispensaries and that could impact Epidiolex's pricing and market share. Overall, this story is worth watching, but I'm less convinced that GW Pharmaceuticals' stock is worth owning. After all, the company is already valued at $740 million, and that suggests that Epidiolex will need to be a nine figure drug to justify this stock's market cap. "
Does this really say Epidiolex must be a NINE FIGURE DRUG?
Gee, thanks GWPH for driving up healthcare costs even further for using... a plant.
Depends on what you mean by "huge potential":
1. People finally gain access to 5,000 year old medicine that works.
2. GWPH profits.
I agree with the former.
The latter? Eh, not so much. You know my reasons.
Here's an idea that is not rah, rah, or boo, boo:
By long term deep OTM puts and calls.
they would rather lose money than abstain from smoking 2 or 3 bongs a day. What a stupid wasted life. Can I get some of that tutti fruiti new brand that El Chapo liked LCF
That knee jerk reaction at the open may have come from the accelerated cash burn reported. At this point, I see the burn as bullish. Maybe indicating confidence in a rocket type launch of Epidiolex.
Wrong Again Stoner....in the know are people who are not Stoners. Duke's MBA is called just that not Fuqua on a nationwide basis. I do have a Sam Adams on rare occasions and exercise vigorously. That means doing more than riding your bike to the dispensary and getting the flavour of the month and a pound package of Pot brownies. You get your new High tech bong yet? Lol Colorado is morally bankrupt
I'm pretty sure those in the know refer to it as "Fuqua" and not "Duke".
I imagine you are a picture of health, no vices, including alcohol.
