leverage from 2.50-60 range and wait til it climbs over 3.. it will sooner or later .. patience is a vrirue with this stock and it rewards quickly when it moves..really true for anything in the solar sector.. GL

Sentiment: Strong Buy
In 2012, Real Goods Solar Commercial commercial division and Smart Energy Capital Joined Forces to Provide a Comprehensive Solar Financing, Development and Installation Solution. $150 Million was initial fund amount.
They Formed a new LLC RGS Energy Capital.
What happened this Year? Smart Energy Capital was bought by Global NextEra who last qtr had over 4 Billion in revenue, and net income of $698 million. Market cap is 34 billion, and they are flush with cash. Research the Company. They are still in business with Smart Energy Capital, which puts them in business with NextEra.
RSOL has over 15 million in cash, we can move forward with Mercury or Without. Believe Mercury would help, but not worried about if it does not go through.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
RSOL has a very solid reputation working with government and universities; very good news.
With Smart Energy Capital, they have a 150 million in investor funds for commercial and government.
“Our partnership with Smart Energy Capital will enable commercial and government entities to replace rising and variable utility electric costs with fixed rate, clean, local solar power,” RGS Energy CEO Bill Yearsley said.
At this point, with or with out Mercury; we now have the funds to move forward more aggressively. Not that impressed with Mercury after looking at the SEC filing. Syndicated Solar was the smartest move, and that is done and already paying off.
They gave us more stream-lining tools and a solid backlog of customers.
Personally do not believe the Mercury deal is a make / break; Syndicated solar is the boost we needed.
Stupid comment?......I think happy is backing it up with facts, including the positive financials of Mercury. while your comment is senseless speculation.
whooped dee farking doo... we should have all dumped this at FOUR and moved on to stocks with BALLS.
"If the Mercury deal closes, there is a good chance that RSOL is delisted or bankrupt this time next year." This is the dumbest thing I've heard all year. It's really irresponsible for you to make such a stupid comment.
