This will probably stress treidiot77 so much that it might just be the news that pushes him over the edge and down the mindless moronic gibberish crapper...
Sentiment: Strong Buy
"However, wireless EBITDA increased about 9%. This was due to cost savings, productivity increases and a lower headcount through natural attrition. Thanks to automation and a shift to the internet, fewer people are calling customer service. In addition, AT&T is migrating its 26 customers to 3G and is shutting down its 2G spectrum. The cost savings has led to higher EBITDA and higher margins. Margins were up from 36.9% to 40.8%, an increase of 3.9 percentage points. Postpaid churn remained steady at 1.10%, and average revenue per user (of wireless) expanded 5.1%, including customers of Next.
The "entertainment" segment also did well. AT&T added 328,000 satellite TV customers, many of which came from U-Verse. Over 3 million wireless subscribers have signed up for unlimited video. Revenue increased 3.1% and EBITDA margins expanded 2 percentage points. EBITDA increased 6.8% - not bad at all.
As you can see, the bottom line is growing on its own. The numbers here aren't as flashy as the headline number suggest, but they are still pretty good. Here are two takeaways I got: wireless revenue stagnated, but improving margins have driven the bottom line. Also, in buying DirecTV, AT&T has added an engine of steady growth (and, separately, will realize $1.5 billion in synergies from it).
Yep ... a very seldom known or used word huh :-)
It sent me to my dictionary to try to figure out how to spell it and verify the meaning ... chuckles :-)
Nope! I just call from time to time to ask what they're offering. I already had a $12/mo. discount. They extended it and added a $15/mo. discount. As I have said many times before, DTV has always treated me pretty O.K.
Upset with our Presidential Choices?- Then just don't vote in the November Presidential election!!!!????
It appears the Power Brokers of both parties are trying once again to shove their preferred candidates down our throats.
Quite frankly this may sound juvenile and myopic, but there is a method to this madness.
First of all, the power brokers of each party assume the candidate of the other party is so repulsive, most of their party members will surely support their hand picked candidate.
Secondly, one party will lose and if the voter turn out is low the losing party may think twice before again shoving a candidate down own throats.
Finally, if voter turn out is less than 50% of all registered voters the winning party's candidate cannot claim wide spread support for his or her platform which could influence their decisions during their first term.
Think about it folks, we do have an alternative to having the party power brokers and their empowered elite friends constantly shoving their candidates/shills down our throats!
It's called " steatopygia" ... same great big black FAT THING kaahhn fell out of when he was born
Yep ... Gov T-Mac in Va .. (long time BFF of the Clintons) just signed a executive order a week ago to mandate immediate "voter registration" for all 200,000 past felons, either "violent" or non-violent, and shall be allowed to register to vote for "Hillary 2016".
So far the State Registrar's office has turned all applicants away ... because none of the (legal) applications are ready, and verification of all will take about a year (or more) to process all 200,000 !!
The State Senate Republican majority on on it NOW
Was this a blatant (insider) left-wing CLINTON Cartel political ploy or what !!
