Too many other compelling values presenting themselves. The mindless Cramer investor looking for the hot stock of the day has moved on. Nothing to start or sustain any price momentum.
Not so long time ago in 2013 I bought DIS and sold for a $10/share. I missed an upside of $50. I am not making the same mistake twice. I will just keep buying now as this company is here to stay.
Let everyone tell you how bad it will be, negative article after negative article!!! Sunshine and daisys do not sell ........ If you feel Dis or another blue chip can go lower, start a position and average in, calculate a number where you would feel safe going all in!!! This is short term, none of these so called experts writing these negative articles saw Disney beating estimates by 37 %, not in their wildest dreams. Imagine a company as big as Disney beating by that much, Iger saw the dependence on ESPN. He went and got a Marvel tent pole, and a Lucas Tent pole. ESPN is giving you a buying opportunity. When it was 122, and you missed the bus. You would've killed for a chance to get at 90 well this is your 2nd chance. Do your own due diligence, and make a choice that is right for you.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Kids NEED to play. I NEED to bang your sister but I don't think that's going to happen. Kids start reading again? Again, your sister needs to be sucking me off again but not going to happen.
This generation of kids won't watch TV. Everybody is throwing their TV in the garbage. Kids need to play outside to get exercise and go inside and read and do homework. Who wants to watch dumb TV shows and cartoons. It's a horrible way for children to spend time. Then there is ESPN, don't get me started on that garbage. When kids start reading again what is Disney going to do, start charging kids by the word to read their books?
Sentiment: Strong Sell
There is a problem in Disney's camp.....I hear only 5 of the 7 dwarfs are subscribing to ESPN. Apparently sleepy doesn't watch tv during normal awake hours and there's too much Cornhizer sports talk reruns after hours, and Dopey, who had his life savings in one stock - Disney, now lives out of his van and can only receive analog signals from local PBS stations or the repeated, let's make America bankrupt again slogans blaring on the Hillary for Prison campaign bus that parades the neighborhoods endlessly.
Let me guess, you also see dead people? Cause this is what Disney is, until it can fix its ESPN subs problem. Perhaps spinning off ESPN, or selling it outright, gets this #$%$ off Disneys finger.
CSCO beats, announces stock buy back (sound similar?) but offers conservative guidance and switch sales are down 17%, Asia lags...BUT STOCK pops!
Day to day market fluctuations do not bother long term investors. In 202 or 2025 I will care where DIS is trading. We all have different time tables. Anyone short should worry..............this thing could pop up 10 - 30 % at any given time. So the longs actually chuckle at these fluctuations.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
