Unlike ZNGA, Amazon is still a growing company and capable of vast innovation, like doing cool dope ʇᴉɥs with drone testing. You can purchase almost anything on AMZN. It makes people's lives easier. Projected revenue for next quarter is huge: $19.7 billion - $25 billion.
Sentiment: Strong Sell
It's a very simple math proposition. For both ZNGA and AMZN, the cost of operations exceeds incoming revenue. Neither company is able to post profits. Amazon shareholders have been willing to overlook this "minor" shortcoming for years based on the misguided notion that AMZN (PE--560) continues to increase market share after driving any number of small businesses under, especially in light of the sales tax advantage. Now we are entering a new environment where profits do indeed matter, and I suspect AMZN will be hammered tomorrow. Here's the critical difference between AMZN and ZNGA. While AMZN can at least claim to be increasing market share, this is by no means true of ZNGA. Quite the opposite. Active ZNGA users are dropping like flies and competition from smaller outfits in the field of social gaming grows ever fiercer. By the way, there is no brand loyalty among the gaming addicts. They will shift like the wind. Farmville one day, Kim K. the next.
Sentiment: Strong Sell
I don't know all the details of his pay package, but I believe a lot of it is in ZNGA options. So, it looks like he sold 1/2 of his shares that he just got from his options to net him 6 million dollars, must be nice. I don't like his pay package, I think most of his pay should be tied to ZNGA performance, but I guess that's the cost for getting a big name guy. I don't love the fact that he's selling shares at 3 bucks, but I don't think it's that big of a deal.
They publish the same article the day before options x-date. Funny how they never mention that Zynga now has CEOs from Microsoft and Google running the company....
I wish I understood any or even some of your ramblings. I'm not sure where you see my sentiment as sell? I guess you have as much right to post some du mass comment about him and me shorting ZNGA. as any genius with nothing of substance to say. Just goes to show you have nothing but an opinion to post. Try doing some research ostrich. At least mine states fact. I'm sure I have more shares of ZNGA than you do troll.
its a 2015 and beyond play... It takes a lot to integrate a company into current operations and make the switchover to mobile, and so far they are doing that with existing products and I would think that this coming year we would be seeing new products so either hang tight and wait or sell and move on. Odonell was posting about FB in the low 20s what a POS it was and now its mid 70s so I don't give his posts much credence. Its like FB with instagram, they bought it quite a while ago and taking some time to integrate it and its proving to be one of its better buys. I am hoping that for Natural Motion... I was watching NOK in 2s and didn't pull trigger, BBRY at lows, same deal. I am just going to hang tight and wait it out...
I'm sure that was discussed here.
Well he's certainly entitled to sell like anyone else, but his willingness to quickly sell a material chunk, at basically the low, as CEO of the company he's running? That seems to really be weighing heavy on this, and what does it say about his belief in the future?

I don't believe 'next quarter, we're doing big things, a lot is in the works' is going to cut it this quarter. They have to show improvement in all parameters that analysts look at or exceptional positive guidance or
we will be in low to mid 2's. Gluu is showing real creativity and kickass execution and unfortunately for znga
they're setting a high standard - real success. If znga blows away numbers and has exceptional guidance
then we move up dramatically - we'll soon see. I'm starting to think that the culture Matrick brought from
Microsoft just doesn't foster creativity. Microsoft often lacks creativity and copies success, nothing wrong with that if it works. Znga should copy gluu's success if they have nothing else.
I'm shocked that we haven't seen new games really this year. i understand the franchise approach, but Zynga with all its might and brain power should have done something fantastic this year in gaming, and has yet to do so.
It comes likely enough on the very day--August 7 (?)--that ZNGA posts more losses.
Something must be done by management to temper that blow.
What will it be? How to put a round peg in a square hole?
I am open to all ideas. It's not another acquisition.
It's not a buyout from the likes of Google, Microsoft, or Yahoo.
So, shed some light on this intriguing question.
1000 employees axed?
Sentiment: Strong Sell
Maybe he is short too. Is he working in the same trench as you?
Acts like it, with no news, no regard for long share holders, silence sucks
Most of the last 10 posts have been about sell sell sell,
When people sell they usually move on, but the same names keep coming back with the same story.
People short or want in at a lower price would hang around, OR WANT IN.
Buy some Jack Benny.
