No insider info required. When they have a sale, don't have nearly enough of an item, and refuse to give out rain checks claiming "we tried our hardest to have in stock" and try to sell you something else that is more expensive, it's called bait and switch.
WFM got caught- again. The apology was total BS. This store and all the others that do this - and it is intentional - should be hit with fines that really hurt. And customers ought to demand the item free when the overcharged is pointed out.
didn't Whole Fraud recently get fined $800K for this in California ,
who else was fined ?
now they are caught "again"
$9 for $4 worth of chicken is pretty wrong (and we are not talking about teh high price , but over charging a ridiculous price )
it is more than enough for cleo , but then again, it was his 83 year old mother getting screwed
(the one that lives on a limited income right?
all 83 year olds eat tons of salt right ? (look at WFM ingredients )
reminds me of some Idiot on S.A. saying how pasture raised pork bacon is healthy
(Gary the fairy )
earnings around the corner , easter will put a hit on this quarter
last quarter they increased expected impact from previous expectations of Easter not in this quarter
there is no doubt they will be fined , they have admitted guilt (plus restitution )
wonder why they didn't start all these new programs after getting caught in California ?
poster child has been
caught selling t u r d burgers
caught overcharging "again"
caught engineering financial numbers
just to name a few
Sentiment: Strong Sell
Stock Market Idiot? That would be you. You did know this company admitted to fraud? That's pretty much a sell signal for any long term investor.
"decades of being a hunter."
let me guess, you sodomized them to death
de-beaking keeps the chickens from hurting each other , do a search , but I guess cleo thinks they should just be scolded
actually I was out fishing ajk627
I am not much on those t u r d fed fish WFM sells
funny how you cry about WMT , and they did $114 billion last quarter
WFM did $3.6 billion , and has to restructure
guess those WFM t u r d burgers are not selling to well either
by the way ajk627 , I have a garden , and I am sure I give away more produce that you and cleo together buy from Whole Fraud
For sure, you have a point! This is all a bad combination of fraudulent activities for the "poster child" of organic food groceries...
If their team members were just idiots, the labeled prices would have been lower AND higher than they should have been. They're not idiots, they were directed from/by management, to fraudulently add a big percentage to
the weight of each deli item.
I'm not shorting the stock, nor am I buying it (never was), but you're clearly correct about the "Whole Fraud" label. Apparently there is nothing you can trust about Whole Foods, and I'm afraid that includes their "organic" products! The founder is a right-wing "libertarian", which means he doesn't want any government interference in his business. NO WONDER, HE'S BEEN PERPERTATING THE BIGGEST FRAUD POSSIBLE: fake prices, a new model valuating food quality that adds value to pesticide-laden foods, etc.
I can sure see why this company doesn't want government "interference"...my gosh...
