IIRC, Guillen came from Daimler in 2011. He's been the ace reliever. He replaced Rawlinson, became Model S project manager, then replaced Blankenship. Tesla's bench is very thin for their ambitions; Guillen may be re-assigned but won't leave 'to pursue other interest or spend more time with his family."
Unless Chinese sales are more than 304/month, I'd say Ms. Wu's days are numbered.
Thanks to the person unwilling/unable to actually READ what I wrote and do nothing more than push a button. Plus, thanks for your inability to debate like an adult.
And people call ME mean? LOL!
Where? Production would include electric motorcycles and scooters to get that number. Surely not EVs. Sales in the US EV plug in cars are trending to end the year about 40% higher in 2014 over 2013.
You do know that the Model X reservation list which is for "next year" shows a North America to China ratio of 7:1 - seven pre-orders in the US + Canada to one in China + Hong Kong.
Still Tesla's 8 years/ unlimited is much much better than your "luxury" 4 years/50000 miles!!! What's your point anyways? How about the "other Luxury makers" making it the same warranty as Tesla and see which "engine conks out" first or Tesla 's already eating a huge chunk of the "other Luxury maker's lunch!!!?
Sentiment: Strong Buy
What point? You really need a hobby. How about rising hamsters?
Wasn't it YOU who said yesterday Tesla sold luxury vehicles? I think it was!
In any case, the average luxury warranty is 4/50,000 with most INCLUDING free maintenance. Want to argue the point with me?
I just read "The Street" article about July Subaru sales being at 45,700 for the month. The article further states Subaru outsold Tesla in the US in July 100:1. That means 457 Tesla sales??
I'm simply asking the question. If correct, is it any wonder why Tesla refuses to divulge US sales? It's been 5 straight quarters without a single comment about US sales. If 457 is the number, the second half of 2012 Tesla sold 3,000 per quarter. Looks like those days are gone if the Street article is correct. It also means all the talk about production constrained is not true.
Now before any of you gets the smart idea to respond by only the thumbs down button, do yourself a favor. READ the article and try to be objective. That's what adults do. Some one, ANYONE, provide the data explaining numbers different than the article. Can you do it?
It proves Tesla's Real Enormous Confidence in its Ever Improving Reliable ELECTRIC Drive Trains to attract even MORE BUYERS away from ice combustible "many repairs/recalls/maintenance" CLUNKERS!!! Load Up!!!
Sentiment: Strong Buy
200=400 layoffs at the same time sounds more like a cash flow problem than all of a sudden pruning dead wood.
