With earnings expectations to be in excess of $1.00/share 2015 this is not going to $19, it'll be 49 long before anyone sees 19
It is always nice to have low volatility days like today when you are trying to enter positions. When you are trying to exit though, you want high volatility for the huge price spikes.
Well heck of course. And if you buy today and it goes to 19 you lose 37%. Whats your point?
Given the announcement of the conference call date absent any warning together with Jason the joker's revelation resellers were pleased with the uptic in 4th quarter results for DDD suggests to me I better grab another 500 shares now.
Cramer has a national audience on TV. You're pretty naive if you think those fellas with the 35MM shares to cover don't have Cramer's phone number on their rolodex and take good care of Jim for doing the deed on their behalf.
This blowhard always knocks stocks that are down and hypes stocks when there up already. He goes with the wind. His antics are the distraction from the reality of stock picking - the little guy gets the real time info after the insiders have already digested it all and spit it out. Cramer sucks up what they spew out, disseminates their message after dressing it up; then he precedes to fool a good number of naïve small investors into thinking he's giving them something original and valuable. At least the guys on Fast Money discuss the merits of a company / or its faults based upon their own perspective - right or wrong.
So when Cramer scoffs DDD, the only thing you know its where its been and that its out of favor. He doesn't have a clue where it going and what is really going on to get it there.
Watch it close and trail stop losses if they allow that for OTC stocks. The market is very volatile of late and price swings up and down at a fast pace. Good luck to you too and hope you make a lot of monies on it!
You are right because it is an OTC stock. The actual company stock trades in Stockholm market in Sweden. To get a better picture follow ARCM.ST.
But yes it has very big moves but this Q is going to be more than amazing and it could have a huge upswing 02/05.
Never hurts to follow until you are surer.
AMAVF's P/E of 60, Compared to DDD's P/E of 160!
DDD may have created support in the $27-28 range as it has tested this bottom 3x. SSYS needs to retest $70 before I would be a buyer. Don't follow the last two.
Have been looking at the 3D stocks and AMAVF has the best stock chart of them all. However, my concern is it is too thinly traded which means it could be easily manipulated. That is a huge risk in my opinion. One guy with deep pockets can corner a good chunk of the shares and manipulate the stock price. If it had an average volume of 1 million shares, I probably would trade it on the long side.
It is a heavily shorted stock. There is an abundance of put options if you are trying to short it. All my short
positions via put options have been dropping like flies like LVS, NOV, SLB. DDD is holding up though, just down
$0.21 so far today. I am staying put on DDD though. I do not think we are at at the bottom yet. JMHO
1. That there will be no significant net income growth until the end of 2015/beginning of 2016.
2. DDD was focusing on growing the top line (revenue) at the expense of the bottom line (net income) in order to expand capacity and technology during a very crucial period in the growth of 3D printing.
3. DDD would be making more acquisitions in 2014 and using 2015 to fine tune those acquisitions- this would contribute to top line revenue of around $1 billion by the end of 2015.
Summary- everything we have seen up until today is in line with the CEO's statements from 11 months ago. Why analysts and investors have such a hard time accepting honest 2 year guidance from the company- especially as all subsequent conference calls have essentially validated this guidance- is shortsighted and silly.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Or will he come out in some forum and say we have no idea what Koolaid Jeffries is drinking but we dont see it that way?
Lots of pure speculation here and nothing else, the downgrade may have done the stock a favor by reducing expectations.
