Hey Freddie! Nice to see you here on Yazoo. Let's fight Hession with everything we've got! He and his crony BOD should be in jail!
That's a good question, I have assumed the terms are presented in USD.
I also know what happens when on assumes.
Also, when they say $6.05 cash per IOC share are they talking AUD or USD?
As I see it, you are correct. If the fed doesn't raise rates that will help our fx component but the rest of the deal benefits everyone other than the shareholders.
May I ask a Question?? If this deal went thru, then all IOC shares become OSH shares unless u cash out. There by LOOSING 30% of their value (give or take) because u are now listed on the Austrailia Stock Exchange. The rate of exchange is .72 cents to our dollar, soooo, this alone is absolutely UNEXCEPTABLE!!!!!! Am I wrong here????
Hession should be afraid of lawsuits but it seems to me he never had any intention of fulfilling his fiduciary responsibility. He never aligned himself w/ shareholders and lied on many occasions to shareholders. He deserves a good lynching.
Hession is afraid of lawsuits, if the T's are low, he's the one that also said we have a monster,so he lied and will be sued! If the number is high he'll be sued because he selling the company for peanuts! My worthless opinion.
Let me first state that I have no idea if this is true.
I have read the management letter and it would appear they are convinced, or in the alternative, trying to convince us, that A/E is not as large as Phil has been stating for years.
If this is true, this company is not worth what many of us had hoped.
Again, at present, there is no way to know whether this is true, I am merely speaking of my perception from reading the release. Clearly the release is self-serving as it is a means of justifying the current management.
If they are telling the truth, this is a good deal and it should be done before the company runs out of money and/or credit.
I am not voting to bring Phil back. Period. I don't trust his estimates and I clearly do not trust his execution of any monetization plan.
I do not have enough information yet to make a determination to vote yes or no on the deal.
My worthless opinion.
Unless you are a MAJOR shareholder, you are not contacted directly by a company attorney to support the ballot. That is NOT normal at all. Hession's team is very concerned now and that contact is an obvious sign.
They are VERY nervous. I got a second set of ballots for my cash and IRA account holdings. Hession's management is running scared and needs to close the deal ASAP.
