Most of those shares were snatched up by two hedge funds in what appeared to be brokered trades at the $2.50 level. I think Stanley picked up ~400k shares at that price.
Royce was a huge seller in KTCC recently. I'm not happy to see that have such a large position here.
Tired of being on the wrong side of the trade? So was I until I joined PennyStock101 The alerts are quality, not junk and they are straight forward and cut out the hype.
There has been little to no retail interest in the stock for two years now. We're a good headline away from that changing I believe though. I'm not to keen on Prillaman canceling the CC. It was a nice touch to state that they'll take investor calls. Sucks that the current quarter may suffer due to further production/shipping/whatever delays. In the meantime, the best thing for us will be if the company continues to buy back shares.
Very true. The one good thing is they pretty much said July through Dec would be much better. Tick tock goes the clock.
Agreed. They've made incremental progress over the last 2 years, but it's always "wait until next quarter, that's when everything is going to start hitting on all cylinders." The hedge fund guys have such a large position here, I suspect they'll cut current management loose if Prillaman is wrong about his current forecast.
No, I will not sell. I will likely add more shares over the next month or so. It just frustrates me when companies fail to execute the simple stuff flawlessly. And by "simple stuff" I mean stuff that simple requires persistence and sticktoittiveness and bullheadedness which is what the efforts underway at Stanley are all about. They are not reinventing the wheel or coming up with a new iPhone or nanomaterial. All they are doing is putting together a factory to cut a little wood, apply some foam, some fabric and 12 trillion staples.
You'll be okay grasshopper. Go ahead and sell tomorrow if you need to. You'll likely still get out with a profit. That said, I withheld my votes for Prillaman on the BOD. He is definitely a 2 steps forward 1 step back kind of guy.
had to do was get a new factory up and running and make some sales. Not exactly rocket science. Now we know why they cashed in the LI, to eat through it with operations. Pathetic.
Well I'm happy to have you both on board! Hopefully we'll get a multi-bagger here. All they have to do is sell a little furniture! :-)
You know I joined the STLY bandwagon a short while back and have a 2.70 average.....but I did add some today at 2.84. It may be a bit later this year but I'm betting on STLY to turn the thing around business-wise and in the meantime, as you say, the company has a ton of options with all the cash it's sitting on.
Well that's a plus then. It means somebody else is building or adding to their position at higher prices.
