cpatrader2001 Thanx for the compliment. Just about all the silver stocks are sitting near their 52 week lows across the board look at all the silver stocks ---- SLW SLV SSRI AG FSM SVM EXK AGQ Paas is debt free. Ive owned SSRI and SVM in the past. When silver recovers I would expect all these silver stocks to soar.

warmcamp weve seen this before granted there is weakness in silver now but we are at a multi year low paas is debt free when silver prices turn around and they will paas will benefit all the silver stocks are down but right now I like Paas best.

  • matx56 how come whenever people are down on a stock they often cry manipulation ; silver hasnt been this low in quite some time; take advantage of it you'll buying at multi year lows. Buy low sell high

  • selling into the silver manipulation price setting futures rigged game. Investors should not waste their hard earned money investing in miners.

Silver stocks are not supported by fundamentals; better say, their fundamentals are so deep underwater that they have very little influence on share prices. It makes impossible to have any good predictions where prices go, where the bottom is and so on.

As long as bear market continues silver stocks will have many bounces and drops; mostly drops because the bear looks for victims. It is a chaotic process without any rationale available to pinpoint the turnaround point or something like this. Some day few guys will get lucky by buying exactly at the bottom; many other guys will lose more by trying their luck too early.

    Hggy
    I like your style.
Question. Why if silver pps drops 1 percent during day will paas drop between 2 and 4 percent in that day and others in the space(albeit lower pps stocks) drop between 4 and 6 percent.?
Someone mentioned strong balance sheet .Cant disagree with that.

arizonaguy----i dont recommend buying any stocks on margin but if you believe in the basic fundamentals of a company even if the stock is hitting new lows you should consider adding to your share count on continued dips. Demand for silver will still be there decades from now. I added more shares of paas on Friday. be smart Buy low sell high

I see nothing in the future to drive up silver prices so you are probably going to be saving alot more. Buying in the 8's is looking like a huge mistake.

You guys do not watch short interest but it was way up in the last report ending 30 June. that period included a pop to 10.00 now they are covering. I sold at 9.99 and got back in too early but last bought yesterday. I will be interested in the short interest for this period thru 15 July and 30 July I think I am correct. it will rise soon not that the silver market is on fire just PAAS went lower than its peers.

Shorts are cunning traders and not like you & I, they can effect a stock with manipulation.

esyslpr: I hear you. Its easy to blame others for ones misfortunes but in reality I have no one to blame but myself for a) buying stocks on margin and b) buying stocks that could get clobbered if the price of silver or oil came crashing down. Thats what killed me. Live and learn. With any luck I will be totally out of this wacky market in the next few days and 100% in cash and I can get back to concentrating 100% on my professional practice. Good luck.

These damn criminals love margin buyers and programs are written specifically to take out the margin buyers. PAAS at these levels is crazy but in a rigged market anything goes. the market is a rigged scam

abamafan: I hear you. I was wrong with PAAS too and took quite a steep loss which would be even steeper today if I still held it. My biggest mistake was buying several stocks on margin ....several of which stocks went very south on me. Besides PAAS I took quite a bath with CVX when the price of oil nosedived. Combined with alot of hiccups on other stocks.. ie ..product recalls (SNAK) and a lackluster earnings release (LNKD) I was forced to either raise capital or liquidate. My better half who I have the utmost respect for when it comes to finances and investing strongly suggested I liquidate all my stocks and be 100% in cash. So with any luck I will be completely out of the market sooner rather than later. The icing on the cake had to be that after dinner tonight with my better half i looked up some quotes on some of the stocks that I liquidated. One quote I got was GOOG. I dumped my shares in GOOG I want to say maybe a week or so ago in the low 500's....after hours tonight it was at $644 after their earnings came out. $644 !!! I didnt know whether to laugh or cry. I feel like Ive been snakebit.....how can someones luck be so bad in a bull market? My better half saw the stunned look on my face...I showed her the GOOG quote after hours...she smiled....gave me a hug and said darling.......the market is not for you or us to be in right now ....its just not in the cards......you are a very successful lawyer.......concentrate on your practice......get rid of the rest of your portfolio and move on. Abamafan.........yes...its time for us to both move on. Case closed. Good luck abamafan.

You probably made a smart move. I bought in too high in the 8's and I don't think she bottomed out yet.
