Well if Oppenheimer does their job they will be getting offers from different parties from both of their business units.----However the real question that one should be asking is whether management really wants to entertain serious offers or are they just trying to deflect interest from Juniper Partners attempt to elect 4 board members at the next annual meeting. Shareholders IMO are quite ready to vote out the current board in preference to the Juniper nominees. That "FEAR" of Juniper taking over the board may be the real reason behind todays Strategic Alternatives announcement.
I hope you are correct. The nice thing about these guys is that that have a nice offering. The potentially bad part is that it is all 3rd party stuff they put together. I don't think there is much IP to give them any massive valuation.
There is certainly more value here than the stock is showing, but they likely need to sell each component individually, unless they can attract someone like Windstream, CoreDial, 8x8, or Ring to just buy them outright , and then sell off what they don't want.
Windstream owns Allworx and could really use some help there. This would be a huge boost to their offerings.
8x8 could use some east coast support folks that know what they are doing, but would also greatly benefit from and Enterprise Implementation Team. Not to mention the network.
