I don't have accurate data I believe for last offering last one july 2013 for 4.7m not sure how big cap wise but that fell 4% so they are hitting .30 now thast 56 cents about 5% this might go 4 to 6%
but for sure they are slapping 11.30 there but not sure
Only 6 million traded today (EFC). Still 2 million to go tomorrow. Might still dip.
It's amazing how relentlessly the short interest has been ramping up.. with that in play.. who knows.. It could prop things up. I mean, look at AI since the beginning of August.. You know that short position, as a collective.. has been getting deep#$%$.
2,246,467 shares sold short as of 8/15 settle. BV excluding deferred tax assets is ~24. Last 2.75mil offering was done at 27.40.. with a whopping 70c of fees (so 26.70 to Arlington). Prior to them announcing the last SPO.. (March 26th according to SEC).. as per their prospectus.. "On March 24, 2014, the last reported sale price of our Class A common stock on the NYSE was $28.38 per share."
Yeah, I #$%$ thee not.. 28.38.. It would really be shocking to see pricing below 27.40.. as if the March capital raise was somehow different.
I don't think JRoTonk is the greedy one. Doing this is fairly sensible. I just hope they have a plan for the proceeds, and not just plowing it into xyz spec pool
sure but I want it long
below book and actually the internals have been good.
I like floats but as with any im small in them.
I buy 600 each dime and was net short so welcomed the long opportunity
nice pop up while my others rolled over and bdcs paid up today.
I like the chop but alwas want to make sure I want the long if Im starting off buying.
careful. This kind of pop-in pop-out stuff tempts statistics. It's like.. doing cartwheels across the highway.. It may work a few times. you'll come out unscathed.. doesn't mean that "unscathed" is a reliable/predictable/certain outcome. I suppose I'm just not a huge fan of floating rate loans. Many have been propped up by CLO bid (with fund outflows offsetting a good bit of that propping).. I haven't observed that phenomenon directly, but I've heard of it on more than one occasion. general rule to avoid 'paper' where demand creates supply.
popped out at 12.34...................................wohooooo, ready to pop back in.
OH NOW YOU ARE POPPING
POPPING TACO FROM "BREAKIN"
YEAH HERES THE POP BACK TO 12.40 WITH PNNT ROLLED BACK OVER A BIT.
In fsfr im guessing here, yeah got some 12.30 and 12.21 got a bunch 3k from 12.28 now that has been a good pop or had been .30 to .35 range up to .45 to .50 range - saving some for a divi which is thurs 9/11
