Seldom drink Coke and have no position in the stock. Ackman sat there and tried to make the case that Coke is deadly because it's a liquid and somehow he has no problem with Oreos because they're just a treat. Some people binge on Oreos and some people binge on Coke, enough with the nanny State.

congrats to the longs on owning a company that is basically a major source of diabetes throughout the world. buffett and munger will be losing a vast amount of their money soon, as coke crumbles and their other sugar-based investments plummet.
" Ackman also addressed Coca-Cola, the soft drink maker that major shareholder Berkshire Hathaway has vigorously defended. Ackman previously bashed the company for what he called marketing unhealthy products to children, and Munger responded to him and other critics Saturday.
"It's immature and stupid," he said of people who talked about Coke's defects without discussing its advantages".............................................ADVANTAGES?? THERE ARE NO ADVANTAGES to guzzling that c r p......Munger is a stupid old fool
why anyone would listen to them is the question. they can barely even talk, let alone dispense investing advice. wait until the price of ibm and coke plummet even farther. if buffet is really drinking all that coke, he will end up with alzheimer's very soon (alzheimers is basically diabetes type 3).
coke is the poster child of over-valued. declining revenues and people become more aware of the dangers of sugar. i havent had a coke in over a year and now going full ketogenic diet. this is the wave of the future and to pay a p/e of 25 for a company based on sugar water is just stupid. buffett and munger will see the value of KO plummet and the old fools will finally be seen as over the hill.
