Volume preceeds price but which way?
Next Tues will determine direction..
Don't blow it after finally making it to double digits....
A prophet is never accepted in his own land. We are looking at a return of 2008 soon. Stocks will be decimated.
Where is all that business coming from?....who are AMZN, GOOG, and IBM taking it from? The silent ones at INAP and IWEB are having their customers drained away. AMZN and company have only been in business a few years vs. the twenty INAP has and who is growing and who is declining? Pretty easy to see what's going on here....INAP may not even be worth a buyout if they don't have any decent architecture left or new patents
lol...you must be a mindreader. I was going to post the same. AMZN with $5B in cloud revs and profits ! Diamond in the rough is INAP
AMZN in the same business for 5 years and is growing leaps and bounds.......If AMZN had ever heard of INAP they would be laughing at Cooney. (note - AMZN new headquarters is two blocks from INAP's old HQ which, moving to ATL, was one of Deblasio's or Peter's bestest decisions ever. Go team.
Quotes from Forbes:
Today, Amazon revealed just how big that “distraction” is. In its just-reported first-quarter earnings report, Amazon said AWS revenues have hit $5 billion on an annual basis. In the first quarter, revenues rose 49% from a year ago, to $1.57 billion.
Even more surprising, perhaps, it’s making money: $265 million in operating income, up from the $245 million it earned in the first three months of 2014.
Reasonable assumptions one can make:
-Wizzy has been saying the same thing when the stock was at 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 , 8 ,9, 10, 10.70
-Wizzy will keep saying the same thing for more years to come whether tthe stock is at 15, 20, 30,,,,,
-The stock has jumped +500% under Cooney and he is still laying eggs according to Wizzy
- Wizzy is dumb or he is just a whiner
- Wizzy doesn't understand that you are not forced to own a stock you don't like
Bottom line: Wizzy will keep posting about laying eggs because he is bored to death with nothing else to do.
Dumb & Dumber posting today is a very bullish signal.
Each time they come out is a good signal but when both of them come out the same day Watchout!
If Wizzy comes out, that would be the Trifecta and you can bet the farm that INAP is going higher.
It's soooo thinly traded. Practically any volume at all drives the price up and down. IF another sucker came along and started buying Cooney's silent routine I could sell out and go home. BUT if any of our angel investors decides to divest themselves significantly we are back at 4 in a month. It's a balancing act and when your BOD doesn't even question the CEO after years of lackluster performance they don't deserve the compensation.
P.S. where is Vitalstream and Web whatever, the Canadian boondoggle Cooney bought for 135 mil. last year? Where is the money????? You can tell the Canuck company was at least happy by their blogs and such until INAP touched them because they are as mum as INAP now. Cooney's next job should be as a cooler in Vegas.
Last two years have been unprecedented bull market. INAP just now catching tailwind. Two years too late. INAP come down with rest of market later this year. Mark this post.
Facts to consider:
-Analysts’ forecast an EPS loss of $.14 per sh and revenues of $85.04 million.
-Cooney is in process of churning low margin customers to high margin.
-Cooney has already forecasted flat earnings and revenues for all of 2015.
-COB sells stock just prior to earnings.
Reasonable assumptions one can make:
-All the above are true.
-Cooney’s churning strategy is creating great margins but not net new sales(revenues).
-Sales of available data storage space is not increasing and is not forecasted to this year.
-The reason storage space is not selling is likely because price is not competitive.
-When and how available storage space will sell in not known.
-COB’s stock sale just prior to earnings release indicates this quarter will be another dud.
Bottom line: INAP must find a way to sell available data storage space. Dumping low profit customers and not significantly increasing high profit customers will not cut it. INAP must show ability to increase revenues.
What is your issue? you have been hating ths management team for years. the fact is Cooney pulled off such a fantastic job you could probably compare it to repairing a jet liner in fight at 36k feet. 14.00 dollar buyout? we will get there in the 3 rd quarter on our own. hopefully you are true to your word and exit the stock then.
asswmiso has been talking about a $14 buyout since the stock was at $6 I'm sure that when INAP gets to $15 he'll be blaming Cooney for not selling the company at $14 He is not too bright as we have been able to tell based on his posts
Just to help INAP is still a small cap by a fair amount (might be a mid cap someday). Small cap is under 2 billion and mid cap is 2-10 billion. Unless INAP is in the guests disclosures I don't know why INAP was listed under that video or they list co's they like on the website.
Hundreds of CNBC interviews about mid-caps and they aren't all tagged to the Yahoo news feed about INAP so why was this one? Valid question.
$14 is a %30 premium to closing today. Happens all the time for that premium. A three buck bump after seven years of doldrums is hardly a long-term trend. Cooney and the greedy blind BOD will take the payoff so they can move onto the next teat.
It's there because it's a mid-cap of course, and based on the last 3-4 months performance is a clear reference to company like INAP that are outperforming the large caps, that was what the piece was about.
In terms of your buyout at $14, don't make me laugh, the stock has risen $3 in the last 3 months you really think the board would look at a $14 offer as anything other than laughable at this point, pls.
Just 4 trading days before Cooney is supposed to lay his next egg, according to Wizzy, INAP closed at 10.70 its best closing since 12/6/07
It also hit a new 365 week high of 10.72
We could see 11 prior to earnings.
