no need to guess who the idiot was that gave a thumb down for the truth posted. And BTW, that idiot has a high number of sign on pages that allow for tallying up thumbs up or down.
Just sounds like a guy who wants to sound impressive with big words.... Republic sucks. Bedford should be in jail. Let the company go out of business.
I offer, in like fashion, an opinion that Republic's management has less concern for its original
owners, the shareholders, than it would ever admit to. I believe that they adroitly used the expensive
advice of Seabury, and the timing of the issues, to push a plan that would lead to the purchase,
acquisition, or direct control of Republic by a major airline partner of their choice. They did so while
pushing for concessions from every quarter. They did so while planning to exploit and debase the
bankruptcy process. They did so in a most unjust fashion, for the personal gain of themselves and their
hired consultants. They did so while lobbying Congress and the FAA for more laxity. They did so
knowing that it was they who caused all of this. They did so knowing that they would get away with it.
And they did so knowing that they were tantamount to horse thieves, the transportation criminals of
I would note that this case is not altogether different than the Pinnacle Airlines Bankruptcy of a
few years ago, and shares the same DIP financing scheme. A better-planned redux, if you will. And I
draw special attention to that last quote from Seeking Alpha, above, and would only add that the
professional pilots of Republic were the first stake-holding group to be injured in this fight. And that you
could see this situation developing in every official memo and act put forth by our company in the last
10 months. Of course, all of this is my opinion, and I stand by it, but I am not a shareholder. I am simply
disgusted with the contempt that these executives have for their fiduciary duties. And I would be spell
bound to see anyone INVEST their efforts and monies in the airlines of the future, were this allowed to

Re: Whythe Delta DIPfinancing plan for Republic Airways Holdings, Inc. should NOTbe approved
Dear Judge Lane,
We pay a high price for the career we choose. I know that to be true, as a long-time Republic
Airlines Captain. And Iam equally convinced that it's true for Judges as well. And although I do not wish
to waste your time guessing at the intricacies of your position, Ido wish to offer a word of
You, sir, are relied upon by the People. You are held in high esteem by those who have an
argument or matter of difference before them. And you are able to do the one thing which they cannot
... weigh the evidence, set the facts straight, shine a light on deeds done in the darkness, and exercise
impartiality in the pursuit of Justice.
I hope that the weight of such a worthy cause is not borne lightly by anyone. And when justice
is done, and done well, I hope that you take heart and sleep well at night.
Sir, you have an opportunity here to do exactly that with the Republic Airways case. It is my
opinion that the upper levels of Republic management have done every imaginable thing to chart a
course towards immediate profitability, to the detriment of good, long-term stewardship. And while
that may be entirely legal, per se, it has not gone unnoticed as an abuse of the bankruptcy ideal.
In no system should it be fair to allow the executive membership to abuse the privileges of
bankruptcy. In no system should it be fair to allow our Bankruptcy Lawto become a routine and
expected step in the business process of every airline. No one is too important to fail. And no one
should be allowed to advance, at another's expense, through such egregious action. We all lose at the
end of such a journey.
I harbor no doubt that it may be too late
Looks like the judge is ruling tomorrow on the Delta agreement at 11:30am
It says (the bench ruling will be under seal) not sure how to process that.
Does it mean the ruling will not be made public?
