Way to go ALGT.
My advice - Make money on ALGT stock. Spend your money on a luxury airline.
Not a basher, nor do I own this stock. I just came back from a round trip Allegiant to Asheville, N.C. from Orlando/Sanford terminal. All I can say this is the worst airline I have ever flown on, and I will never fly Allegiant again. I will make it my mission to tell all my friends to avoid this airline. All their cost cutting efforts results in very poor service top to bottom. I posted my extreme dislike on face book, now at least 100 people will hear about my poor travel experience. This company will eventually go down due to poor service. Facebook has a group complaint page for Allegiant Travel, there are so many with gripes about what a #$%$ experience they had. Allegiant average 35 employees per plane, while the rest of the air industry average 50 or more per plane.....that should tell you something right off the bat.
When you take the gally's out of the plane for 16 more seats, and then purchase different non-reclining seats you get 30" of leg room, a whole 4" less than most airlines. Remove the forward and aft gally space also eliminates two bathrooms, one forward and one aft on many models. Result more passengers, less bathrooms, no gally, no hot beverage (coffee is not served). Might as well be on a subway that flies cramed with people. Next item they will probably charge for is PAY TOILETS on board.
The Story: Sleek Money reports that Imperial Capital analysts have reaffirmed an 'Outperform' rating on Allegiant Travel (ALGT) and lifted the price target to $196 from $160.
How to play it: If you share the analysts' bullish sentiment regarding ALGT and believe that its stock price will reach $190-$200 by July, 2015, then you may find this Bull Call Spread +175/-190 hard to pass up.
