Once they announce that they are getting into subscriber business, the stock shall react but for now; it seems like no one cares. SNE people wake the bleep up, in other words: I would like to be your first subscriber, and I do not care what it is that you are offering, but go ahead and think of something that you could offer......Now imagine the possibilities.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Sony has a market cap of 16 billion. Netflix 24 billion. Netflix has 40 million subscribers. PlayStation plus will easily surpass that 40 million by the end of this console generation. Is this reality being overlooked? And that is just one piece of their business. Sony could easily become more of a digital content subscription company than a hardware conpany.
SNE book value is $27.71 per share. FB is $5.35, AAPL is $137... Go figure WS crooks...
And don't even bring up that BS about current and future growth potential in those other companies.
nothing wrong with SNE. the pps is down because the overall market sentiment is down and there's a little bit of a correction going on. This will go back up. Time to buy and enjoy the next rally.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
unfortunately for you, you won't be happy at my expense because I already left the position I had on January 8th when I sold at 18.30, making a whoppin' $ 24,500 in profits. I'm long gone baby!
I'm always one step ahead of the game, sucker!
Banker134 you are a dumb #$%$. Come out to see me. You are a loser. SNE is close to mid 15 now. You should shut up and vanish. You are finished and are hopeless.
Go to hell now, coward.
Sentiment: Strong Sell
Sony smartphones are popular in Europe and Asia. Reason why you don't see them much in America is US carriers don't really carry them with some exceptions. This is starting to change though with T-mobile and the Xperia Z1S.
I agree - XPeria tablet is great in any respect, Add to it Sony TV Sets with Youtube streaming, Home Network Integration, co-operation with the tablet, its legendary graphic rendering and unmet design Quality. People not buying it, probably havn't done their homework.
WS has one obsession, which is how to swindle American people. There is never any logic about what they do, just what they CAN do and how they do it.
Because great products alone don't guarantee big future profits and they certainly do very little to satisfy WS obsession with growth.
I bought today at $15.82 and wouldn't think of selling below $20
Sony needs no approval from Moody's. They have the cash to cover the debt and many many more assets on the books. I expect them to announce something that will move this upward sharply anytime now that Moody's has played their bluff. Reminds me of Sprint at $2.30 when Moody's and S&P were hammering them. Then Sprint got bought out and the stock went over $11 recently. Thanks Moody's.
