Exactly how will this deal be cancelled? Or better yet, what would make BNNY a dangerous acquisition? I don't cling to a buy or sell sentiment but I do am skeptical about some BNNY practices. So, besides some ranting comment in a message board, what else you got under your bag of tricks regarding BNNY's ending of Cinderella moment?
I am listening...
Cash deal and I haven't read anything about a possible sweeter bid...who would buy BNNY at or above 46.00?
I'm aware that there was a fairly heavy short position, are they all covering and pushing the price above the offer? I have to imagine the share price will align with 46.00 or slightly lower.
I wouldn't know. I don't watch Cramer or care what he says. In fact I can't stand the guy.
As an organic snob, i don't buy this product line at all. Now that GM owns it, DEFINTELY not.
It's a good move for both companies. Annie's gets bailed out from all of the problems it's been having and General Mills improves its healthy food line.
As a shareholder in both, I am pleased.
This overpriced deal is typical of puffed-up stock markets that are in their late stages. After the crash, GM will begin dismantling Annie's product lines, firing staff and doctoring up the product formulations with cheap raw materials.
GIS market cap: 32.75 BILLION
GIS is buying BNNY for 0.82 Billion
Maybe a review of your analytical "skills" is in order.
This is a strong sell because like you said the company is buying it at 46 per share... people are bidding over 46 like the company was buiying it out for like 50 a share then that would be different. Also GIS may not even benefit annies because we all know gis... and the deal is not even for sure yet so what are you guys doing?
I can't believe this. This company doesn't even have the Organic green seal on most of its products because they mix conventional and organic materials. Good job by management in finding a fool to buy them.
