every .10 cent rise to PVG adds .02 cents value to SSRI. So the success of PVG plays a big role in value of SSRI until they sell their shares.
you do realize that SSRI is the largest shareholder here.
Im a very large shareholder of SSRI as of the past 2 weeks and see enormous value...I also love Pretium but chose SSRI as a semi proxy to these shares.
As I understand it SSRI eased/pushed Quartermain out to bring in a production guy. To facilitate ousting him he was offered 1st choice on one of SSRI's properties. He chose the Bruce Jack concession which turned into one of the highest grade/cheap production projects in the world.
One or more info clicks a day on PVG now, all positive. Things are heating up, the money is in place to start, one permit left I believe, and start up is beginning to roll.
Up, up and away. Well, just a little. Stuff is happening to make gold attractive again. MidEast, nuclear talks, monetary policy, Europe, Greece. Oil and gas will move up and Russia will get outta selling. The talking heads are not there yet, but they will be and soon. Gold will be back and with it the miners and the juniors, PVG will be big.
Once financing is complete, and I don't think there will any problems in getting financing, my best is we will see how well Quartermain sets up and executes his plans. In other words, it won't surprise to see the mine fast tracked and completed ahead of schedule.
My hope is for no buyout, that Quartermain sees this project through himself.
Today, March 26, 2015 the Provincial Government issued an Environmental Assesssment Certificate for the Brucejack project. There are a few qualifications that require the company to provide additional information prior to construction of the mine and processing plant but the information required is minimal and requires flowing water for the information to be available. Pretium can now apply for the necessary construction permits so the mine can be built on time and hopefully on budget. They have the money on hand for the initial phases of the work and can now finalize the financing plan (debt, equity and perhaps a forward sale)
This milestone occurred on schedule and I think the next steps will also occur at the expected dates.
With gold north of $1500 CDN the repayment of ca[tal should be close to the best case scenario from the Feasibility study. If you are on board-you should be rewarded but the market is a strange beast and sometimes bites at unexpected times. GLTA and DYODD
Sentiment: Strong Buy
I'm still betting the Bruce Jack project will be put on the fast track as soon as these are lined up. I wonder how PVG has spent the 80 mil to prepare for start up e.g equipment and supplies?
It's just following the gold price. If it's any consolation, the drop has been on low volume. Everything hinges on them getting the permits at the end of March.
